  1. I have to agree with you on that one! There are studs who went out at semi-state! Making it to state makes you a very special wrestler.. Kids who lose Friday night are studs, too! All I can say is if you make it to state, win or lose, it will be an experience you will never forget!
  2. My name's Sean, not champ.. and I'm excited for it too... Thanks MHSfan..
  3. McCray wins by inj. default... Who wants to bet me money? I can make it happen! hahaha All i know is we both want a state title.. And I'm going to do my best and so is he...
  4. Every season is a new season... Last year doesnt matter. Head to head competition matters... Although Most would have picked porras to win, most would have picked him to win by 1 or 2.. Thats an escape, reversal, or takedown away from a loss.. Sorry, but no upset here.. Ask Brady, bet he says he knew he could win it.. Credentials? Who cares about credentials?
  5. Tough second round match with Hawk... This match will build someones confidence going into the Semi's.
  6. Willis took one shot on me... With about 6 seconds left.. I don't live in Indy, so I only see him wrestle at the Traicoff. And by calling him a defensive wrestler I am not calling him a bad wrestler at all.. I know he's a stud, so no need to defend anyone. On the flip side, I think i teched Jennings last year..

  8. I've learned to never take Quiroz lightly... The kid knows how to win. Both wrestle defensive.. I think Willis has the edge but my pick is Quiroz.. That winner will have a tough one in the semi's too.

  19. Last year Portage had 11 at Semi State. Dropped three first round and 7 in the ticket i think. I was the only one to get out... Semi State is when wrestling gets real in Indiana.. Alot of times kids lose but if that match was rewrestled ten times, theyd win the next 9 in a row!
  20. That definitely helped us out! I dont think they were happy about an 'upset'. Brady and his coaches knew where he was... It was a stepping stone.. but not an upset.. that match could be wrestled ten times and all ten would have a different outcome.. The important thing is that Brady knows his work has paid off and he is definitely in the hunt for the 140 lb state title!
  21. I heard Carmel feeds it's swimmers fish food... Where are the gosh darn brackets?
  22. Unfortunately, the man who works harder doesn't always when the match. You gotta score dem points! Btw, I beat on my older brother!
