  1. Sean Mc "flurry" Murray This is the wrestlinggods and I am working on it. I trimmed my fingernails for you also.
  2. Let me know if you need any help. I haven't figured out the new feature but I guess everyone is loving it.
  3. Y2, Have you talked with your crew about this?? What do you think??
  4. I am wrestlinggods and still haven't figured out what the new feature is???
  5. Names to add to your list Nick Odem (state placer) Camden Eppert (4th, 1st, 2nd) Sampson cook (state qualifier)
  6. I will admit Whoosier Daddy, it has been very funny reading all the talk on the board about the Highlanders and the Devils. Whenever you feel the St. "X" factor is ready to compete against the wildcats you know where we are, bring them up. I am waiting grandpa!!!!!
  7. The problem with it is only taking one team out of the indivdual sectional. As in previous years, not always the best dual meet team wins the team sectional. We are deciding our team champion at an indivdual tournament.
  8. LN - Last 20 years 4 X Team State champions 2 X Runner Up 3X Team State Final Four at least 15 Individual State Champions
  9. Here is a thought for Y2 and the rest of his staff. What about doing a regular season MVP and a tournament run MVP like the NFL does a regular season MVP which Peyton Manning won and then they give out a Super Bowl MVP which could be our Tournament Run MVP. I know the Pound for pound could be a great resource for the Regular Season MVP but there could be others like 1. you must be undefeated at regular season end 2. quality of opponents wrestled 3. strength of schedule 4. domination of wins (pins, techs, maj. dec) And then for the tournament run MVP it is open for all of the wrestlers 1. how deep you went into the tournament series (placement, runner-up, or champ) 2. quality wins over opponents 3. how tough the route the wrestler had to go through to get to state 4. domination of wins (pins, techs, maj.dec) I think it would be fun for everyone and the dark horses or bracket busters could have a shot at the tournament run MVP. What do you all think?
  10. Lou What are the start times and does the winners of each pool wrestle and so on?
  11. Jared Williams had 209 takedowns in high school, not bad. I know by the end of this year, I will have taken him down over 209 times in his career in the LN wrestling room. I will be going for number 188, 189, and maybe 190 at practice today.
  12. LN Coaching Staff is pretty young. Williams- 30 but when his little girl is around he is 5 Douglas- ??? I have known him for 9 years and still don't know his real age, but he thinks he is 23 Gondol- 3? but has a personality of a highly educated 19 year old teenager Weimer- 28 but everyone tells me that my hair makes me look about 40? I still don?t see it.
  13. A great father coaching son situation that I have witnessed is Coach Atwood from Delphi and his son Braden or what I call him ?Chump?. I was in the corner with Coach Atwood at Fargo and those two were on the same page when it came to wrestling. I am very impressed with their relationship on and off the mat. A definite positive example to look at if you are a coach with a son that wrestles. Coach Weimer
  14. How do you not talk about the quiroga vs. wright match-up?? That was a classic also!!!
  15. Hats off to both Cash and Camden! Indiana needs more wrestlers like these two who don't care about records and just want to get better! The match was very exciting to watch and coach. Both of these kids have dedicated themselves to be the best! I am very excited to see both of them at Purdue next year. Coach Hinkle is getting in my opinion two of the hardest working wrestlers in the state. I hope every young wrestler, coach, parent, and fan sees that this type of dedication and lack of fear is the only way that Indiana high school wrestling will get better! Coach Weimer
