    Come to Lowell High School this Wednesday for Clinician Eric McGill! Eric is a 2X State Champion and a 1X Runner-Up in the IHSAA State Tournament and also a former wrestler for NCAA Team Runner-Ups Cornell. We will start at 6:00 CST and go until about 7:45. Enter at Door 17 of Lowell High School. See you there!

    This weeks Clinician will be former Lowell State Champ and current Lowell Assistant Coach Bobby Howard. A little bit about Coach Howard. 2X IHSAA State Placer 2000 IHSAA State Champ 2X JUCO All-American Wrestled at NAIA Lindenwood for four years. Coach Howard will go over his transition high crotch offense amongst a few other things the first hour and we will get some live goes in the second hour. See you Wednesday at Lowell High School 6PM!

    The Lowell RTC will start back up in the Lowell High School Wrestling Room on March 10th. Enter at door 17. Time will be 6:00 P.M. CST- 8 P.M. CST. We had a great turnout last year. What a great time to get some live wrestling in on the off night of CIA NW. Any clinicians we will have will be posted at a later time.

    It's tomorrow! Iowa is in town and Purdue will be here in the morning. Let's pack "The Pit" or as I like to call it, "The Inferno South" and come catch some great wrestling at Lowell High School! Doors open at 12 P.M. Wrestling starts at 1 P.M.

    Thank you to all the schools who made the Lowell Invitational a success this weekend and understanding our time constraints. Almost every kid got to walk out on the day with three matches and we were out of the gym by 3:15!     Men aren't allowed to compete in women's volleyball in high school because the men's height for the net in volleyball is higher than the womens. Gymnastics compete in different disciplines for men than they do for women. I have no clue why they aren't allowed to play softball. These are just what I have been told.

    I am pleased to announce that Lowell High School will be hosting a Big Ten Dual Meet on Sunday, January 24th, 2010 between the Purdue Boilermakers and the Iowa Hawkeyes. More info will come in the future, I just wanted to let everyone know so that can save that date on their calendar!
