  1. Please accept my appology coach. I did not intend for my comments to be offensive to you. My intent was to have some fun before the upcoming tournament. Good luck to you and your team. The A**Hole
  2. I think you think a little too highly of Floyd Central again. I will be shocked if they are anywhere close to the top 3.

  5. Sorry to hear that...Justin is a great kid. Hope recovery goes well. I can understand and sympathize with how you are feeling.
  6. It is clear that Y2 cannot be trusted with confidential information.
  7. I haven't heard for sure yet, but it's usually on Monday night.
  8. Where are you from? Northview? The Columbus East Lineup will be very similar to the lineup for the Al Smith. 140 should be the only difference than the Al Smith. Which means we should be at full strength for the 6 way.
  9. Sounds like a good system. Maybe the host school deserves to have all #1 seeds!!!
  10. I'm not sure I would be counting out EMD just yet!!!
  11. 1st criteria is defending champ at same weight. Doesn't apply here. Carlile will be #1 seed because head to head is the deciding criteria. Carlile beat Holwager and Holwager beat Taylor. Taylor will be #3 seed. Depends on Marlin's overall winning percentage. David Johnson will be #2 0r #3 seed. He placed 6th at the Al Smith.
  12. UMMMMMMM.....I think Steven Rieker may be at 135. Also, Jordan Gast is at 135. I think both guys beat Kerr.
  13. Both teams will have full rosters at conference and sectional.
  14. Actually the one I missed was 152. I had the Center Grove kid winning. He will learn from his mistakes and hopefully refocus on some areas he needs to improve before the state tournament.
  15. Wow!! I really didn't think I was that good at Pick'ems......Must just be lucky.....I wish I could trade it for a different result in the 171 bracket!!!
  16. Columbus East 6 Way Center Grove Greenwood Northview Triton Central Seymour Columbus East
  17. I'm thinking that after 868 bouts over the next 2 days the wrestlers will be the ones that decide the outcome. The best over those 2 days at each weight will be the champions. Seeding has nothing to do with who the champions wiil be. 2nd place is the 1st loser and everyone is striving to be the champion and no matter where you are seeded you have to beat the best to be the best.
  18. Hmmmmmmmmmm.......Never thought of that! :
  19. I looks like you won't be happy unless we just put all of the Merrillville kids straight in the finals. Sorry, but this just aint fantasy land.
  20. There won't be any kids in this tournament that place that are not good. Luck has ZERO to do with it!!
  21. I'm sure the ISWA is needed for this event due to insurance concerns.
  22. Actually, most of the #1 seed were no brainers. However, many weight classes were not so cut and dry after the top couple of seeds. There were many discussions as the seeding went and no one person had the final say on the seed positions. If ANYONE had something to say about a wrestler or where they should be seeded there was a discussion before it was put on the board. That is why I think it is very important for a representitive from every school to be present. Can't be part of the discussion if your not there!!!!
  23. Would had been hard for you or anyone to see Berry at state last year. He did not wrestle last 6 weeks--was hurt. Hard to make it to Conseco--if you don;t even wrestle Sectionals. I'm really sorry he was injured at the end of last season and didn't get to wrestle in the state tournament. Trust me when I say that I can completely relate to that feeling. Ummmmmmm..........If he is the best wrestler in the weight class, then what difference does it really make if he is the #1 or #2 seed? It was basically a no brainer at the meeting......an undefeated state qualifier was the obvious choice for the #1 seed.
