IndyT, I agree. I spent a lot of time on Saturday with parents and fans trying to explain where their kids would be wrestling. We seem to be forgeting the people who support the kids and this sport.

IHSAA letter (e-mail) to AD's: 1. You will notice that the brackets this year do not contain mat assignments. We have instituted a ‘first available’ procedure this year. Several locations will be available to inform you of the que for each bout, wrestler, and mat. It is the responsibility of the coach and wrestler to get to the appropriate mat at the appropriate time. The announcer will read the information on mat assignments. During the Coaches’ meeting on Friday evening the location of the monitors will be shared. This appears to be the same format as the New Castle Semi-State.

I believe that the request is for the school's lineup (i.e. anticipated 14 wrestlers to be considered for pairing). Following submission of the lineup, seeding criteria information and head to head results can be input. When you arrive at the seeding meeting all information will be on trackwrestling and preliminary seeds determined. I believe the theory is that the seeding meeting will run more efficiently with the information collected early.
