Wouldn't it be smart/make sense for th IHSAA to look at these numbers when they align the Sectional? It would eliminate the possibilities of semi-state worthy wrestlers not making it to semi-state and over all make each semi-state more competitive.

Has anyone compared Semi-State place winners with each of the entering Sectionals. For Example at New Castle Semi-State the Zionsville Sectional had 18 wrestlers that placed top 4. (the most at New Castle) Indianapolis Northwest Sectional had 12 and the Warren Central Sectional had 11. These 3 Sectionals made up for 41 of the 56 places that advance to the State Meet.
