Jordan Takara 152 at union county. Kid is solid, a hammer, still has not got a chance to wrestle anyone ranked ss or state ranked yet. I can see Takara doing some bracket busting during the state series.

39-24 east central falls only wining 6 weight classes. Besides the score I think it was an awesome showing for east central to be able to compete with the irish. They have made awesome strides over the last few years, I can only see the program going up from here! Awesome job east central.

How are these brackets built? Is it just someone randomly drawing out of a hat or is it computer generated? What is the formula to building the brackets? Can they reuse last years brackets? Or is it always different?

Here is a break down of the ranked wrestlers in each weight class based on the recent rankings. Most likely the ranks and weight will change by the time the spartan kicks off.

Very true, Really did not think about that. Tournaments are super boring for anyone that is new to the sport. Shoot I get bored still and I am a die hard fan haha. Quick story: I took my wife to her first tournament to watch my brother wrestle at indy nationals, we were there for about 12 hoursgive or take. We were cramped, and hot. Needless to say, she despises wrestling ever since that day.

More Individual tournaments instead of dual meets., allow Jv to fill in brackets as well.

What all teams will be at the 32 man tournament in south east Indiana this end of December??? I seen on here teams that are linked to the event, but not the complete list of teams.

I see this happening soon, still early in the season, I’m guessing after the holiday tournaments we will get a good look on how the weight will be for the state series.

This is a small little table of the medal count of the top 20 guys in each weight class based on 12.2.21 individual rankings update. The total # of wrestlers is based off only ones that have medal in the state tournament.
