Is there still openings for this tournament?

We have an opening in our Cadet duals on Dec. 7th and also a few openings to our weeknight dual schedule.

Cascade:

Zach Batts 144-19 career, ticket rounder Freshman-Junior year.

Qualified and placed 6th as a senior, upset Ben Harvey on Friday night. 

Currently our only placer in program history. 

Lucas Farmer of Cascade at 157

Just curious, but was Cascade's score adjusted to reflect that we had 7 regional qualifiers? The leaderboard came out before one of our alternates got called into regionals and just wanting to make sure we are getting those points. Thanks for all you do!

Another interesting rd 1 matchup out of Evansville at 157 Freshman vs Freshman: Elijah Guyer IC vs Lucas Farmer Cas. These 2 had a great match in rd 1 of MS state last year with Guyer getting the OT win. Now they see eachother again for a chance to get into the ticket round. 

Potential at 190 for Terry or Goldsberry to see McConnell in the ticket round. 

Cascade had an alternate get pulled into regionals today so we still currently have 7 remaining.

Don't count out Mink Round 1 against Eckels. He has been battle tested all season, wrestled a tight match against Breedlove and Oyebode. 

What are some of the predictions?

Mooresville 113 is deep. 6 of 8 are semi state ranked. Most if not all could be making a trip to Evansville if they were in any other regional.

Mooresville sectional has a variety of big and small schools. Center Grove being the biggest and Eminence being the smallest around 300 in the entire school district.

A couple of our early season losses came from not having everyone in the lineup yet also. I think the seeding will be difficult for 1A, which in turn will make it even more fun and exciting. Anyone can beat anyone.

Agreed with Clint. If anything, it should boost WC into the top 4-5 discussion. Rochester has a great team and resume and shouldn’t be punished with their two blemishes, but WC should be rewarded for their win as well. 
 

WC is very solid at 1A from 120-150. 2 State Qualifiers, a SSQ, and several tough freshmen. 

Just another way that will make 1A team state exciting.

While everyone is talking about the big guys, let's give the little guys some love. What are some thoughts on 1A team state? Some familiar names in the mix plus some new teams in it this year. 1A has provided some serious excitement over the past few years, nice to see it has its own location now.
