  1. I would have to agree. I did all the stats for Wabash College and that is what we used. It worked out really well. The people at track wrestling are easy to work with as well if you have any problems or questions.
  2. My spell check wasn't working at the time! ;D
  3. Wabash College needs your help!!!!!! Danny Irwin, the head assistant wrestling coach at Wabash College, is facing off against Matt Valent, wrestling coach at the University of Penn, in the quarter finals of the SMOY Assistant Coach category! Coach Irwin is the only coach still in the bracket that isn't a coach at a D1 school. We need all the votes we can get and your help will be much appreciated. You are allowed to vote once per hour from noon till 9 p.m. So help out Wabash College Wrestling and follow the link below to vote for Danny Irwin! http://www.elitelevelsportmarketing.com/#!smoy-awards-assistant-coach/cndb
  4. The field house is all set up! It looks pretty solid. Gonna be a smoothly ran tournament and should make for a great day of wrestling. Come on out to see some great wrestling.
  5. I have just received word from a credible source that the IHSAA will NOT be turning the lights off for the finals this year?.... They said it would be a fire hazard? bunch of softies.... Anyone else heard this?

  7. No he didn't and that's why I just credited him with being an awesome wrestler and saying that the D3 nationals are very tough. You are making it sound like I'm putting down D3 wrestling when in fact I'm not. And I understand that there are very few states that do individual state tournaments. I'm just saying I like the way Indiana does it.
  8. Two very good points. And I'm not taking anything away from Reece. He's an awesome wrestler. The D3 nationals are very tough. I would imagine there are some kids there that could have gone to a D1 program but decided to go D3 instead so placing there is a very tough thing to do. Im just saying I like how Indiana does their high school state tournament.
  9. Why don't all states go to one class like we do. When I was in high school I liked having one class. You got to wrestle the best kids in the state because it didn't matter how big your school was. And if you win the state tournament, you are truly the best in the state. I just don't understand how you can go any other way. Other small schools might disagree with me, but I came from a small school and I didn't have a problem with it.
  10. Nate Ryan, senior at Alexandria Monroe High School 152 lbs, has now beat Chandler Hale from Shenandoah, Travis Gooding from Pendleton, and Shawn Fogle from Greenfield Central.
  11. I remember when I was in High School, if the opposing team had someone better at a certain weight he would move us up a weight class in order to wrestle that person. I don't think it is right to not wrestle the better competition. IDK if just me, but I always liked to wrestle the better kids.
  12. Nate Ryan, Senior at Alexandria High School, defeated Chandler Hale at 145 and Shawn Vogel at 152 thus last weekend at Elwood Super Six.
