Great match!!! kept me on my feet the whole time. He has been fighting along time for the award and now after years of hard work and determination he got it. He made history from being the last wrestler since cambell from 1967 to win the title. He rewrote the jimmies books too. people thought Ryran Konrath would be the next state title. WRONG!!! CONGRATS NICK FROM ALL OF US FROM JIMTOWN!!

we can class team and get it over with... but no one agrees with that type of system. so this is where we are for a while. i'm sure it'll be gone soon.

Everyone sees what they want to see. see it, not see it what ever. I saw it a lot too this weekend and it made me mad to see kids abuse the injury time out, specially at this tournament. your the best of the best. i'm not saying you should be in the "iron man" shape, but you should be able to get through 3 periods of tough wrestling and not have to use a minute of a time out that is suppose to be used for an emergency. besides even if you didn't see it this weekend that doesn't mean it doesn't happen at other tournaments. it needs to be stopped from all level tournaments, so again it does need to be a rule some how.

a child shouldn't be turned away from wrestling for any reason. no one is saying that, but how can the field be equal when a kid having an "asthma attack" every time a take down is about to happen. Wrestling is the only sport that I can think of that stops it. could you imagine if football, swimming, or any other sport at any level of play stopped for an "asthma attack". they would all be 10 times longer. injury time out needs to be changed, but that doesn't mean it should be a penalty. It does to be controlled though.

The way I saw it. The Yorktown should have won with the last second carry, but with out replays it doesn't matter what I think. It's down and it was a good match.

As a ref watching the matches today, I was very disappointed in a lot of matches that used the time out for an "injury time" but I didn't see any injuries. I just saw the kids sit on there butt to gain there second wind. It doesn't need to be a penalty, but it does need to be controlled a lot better some how. I'm hoping that a new rule is made but for now I just ref the match like it says in the rule book.
