  1. I've been wanting this for years. Would be the best way for the state tourney to have for the most part the top wrestlers in the state.
  2. I love this. any wrestler knows anytime the match gets stopped for ANY REASON you need to take that time and catch your breathe. dont waste energy that ur coach can afford to use cuz hes just sitting in the chair..lol..If you have the energy to argue, then that means you have plenty enuff energy left to win the match. there was times when i literally crawled off the mat. wins and losses.
  3. The deck of cards helps alot. We did them like 2 or 3 times a week at the end of practice. It was so hard.. i think every wrestler should wake up doing 20 pushups and go to sleep doing 20 pushups. It may not seem like it helps but it does. And its all extra and on your own.
  4. lol would be nice if u could..u had to decide by monday. will never happen but i like the thought lol
  5. I know several state champs and a few multi state champs that did not want to go anywhere near the weight room. But its tricky because they did several pushups, situps and things u do outside the weight room. i agree with lifting weights, but i think its a whole lot more important to work in the mat room. when someone stepped on the mat with me and he looked like a body builder, i knew i had a great chance to win. the ones that have all that muscle and alot of skill dont come very often. All im trying to say is i wouldnt go crazy in the weight room just because you think its gonna make you a state champ. OBVIOUSLY skill and technique is a WHOLE lot more important...just my thoughts.
  6. IF anyone knows the scores it would be nice also. I just dont see anything on his losses. and i really dont see how hes lost 3 times.
  7. I think lahue will get a quick pin or at least a quick 5-0 lead. and he might not be at full strenghth the 2nd day at state..that was a very good point..but adrenaline might come thru. we will see.
  8. It dont sound like hes overrated to me lol..thanks AOBERLIN.. Nice stats to back it up.
  9. Jamison has beaten hollwager. Pierre is definately beatable also. Im not saying he will win by no means, But saying he wont make it past 2nd if he does win 1st round is crazy. i THINK they will both be great matches either way.
  10. NO WAY it will be dominant. I can say he could lose in a great match..but if its dominant then schoettle will win the state championship...lol
  11. I dont know but i wanna see it..lol..i havent seen schoettle wrestle this year..
  12. Wow Lecount has some very impressive wins this year..this weight class could go to anyone of them.
  13. There is not much of a chance Stock beats Lahue. lol..I wouldnt be suprised to see a major. Of course any wrestler knows anything can happen on the mat. But if im a bettin man..its lahue all day.
  14. I know hes beaten Shepherd #5 at 120. Hes beaten whitley a few times. Im sure there are others. I cant remember off the top of my head.
  15. Re: Who is the Most Underrated Wrestler in the State? ? Reply #6 on: Today at 03:32:10 PM ? Quote I'll nominate Forrest Glogouski. Beat #4 Matt Frane at regionals and has only one loss which was to Brandon James. I'm going out on a limb and saying he'll place top 6 while ranked #16. This one is a really good one.
  16. You cant be underrated and be ranked #1 in the state of Indiana. Anyone else ? lol
  17. Not positive but didnt Rod Woodson wrestle? I know his Nephew or cousin did.
  18. Lets not forget that Whitley is no slouch. Hes beat some great kids. He also got 3rd at Md classic...
  19. He didnt wrestle bad against whitley. Whitley just had wrestled Lahue a few times and came out with a great game plan and got 2 early points and stalled the rest of the match. It was more of a great match and coaching for whitley other than Lahue wrestling bad. When you wrestle someone a few times..it only hurts the better wrestler.
  20. Maybe Fiddler? Hes had great matches with the top ranked guys.... Or just inside the top 10 at #9 Oser? still undefeated...Dont know if he has beat anyone noticeable or not.
  21. Id be really shocked if it was a 1 point match. Only way he keeps it close is if he stalls. This is how he lost at Sectional. Then come regional finals he absolutely destroyed the same kid. But i guess we will see. Lahue is the real deal. He can beat anyone if his mind is in the right place.
  22. Lets here some. Underrated id probably say they would have to be outside of the top 10 and has a legitimate chance to place or even win it all.
  23. Who does everyone think will win? My prediction is Lahue 8 Stock 5 with lahue and Schoettle in a great finals match.
