1. I have been trying to find all the results from last weekend, but they haven't been posted on SEILocalSports yet. Do you know if they exist anywhere?
2.
East Central29Columbus East31
3. Cool! Makes perfect sense! Thanks for the explanation.
4. What happened to Maximiliano? Did he get lost in the 220/285 suffle?
5. Got it. I swear that post looked different the last time I saw it. : Thanks!
6. I see three posts on that page: 1gold, Charger 1, and you. LOL No biggie, I will just see them when I see them.
7. Where? I assumed that he just changed his rankings at the top of the SS thread, but I paged through and didn't see them within the thread either. Maybe they are invisible to me. Help a brother out! LOL
8. According to the brackets on TrackWrestling, Hittle is going 182 this weekend at New Pal. And Wagner from New Pal is going 195. not sure if the moves are related, but they shoul each win easily.
9. Mak, you must be using some old rankings. Nobbe and Hofrogge aren't even ranked anymore (and a few guys are ranked in different weight classes).
10. Can someone please explain which brackets they are using - left, center, or right? Is it dependent on N. Putnam?
11. At EC on 12/21, L'Burg had Alanis at 120, Oyler and Inman at 132, Wesley at 138, Ruberg and Hooper at 145, Tibbetts at 152, Hill at 160, and Kirk at 285. The Ruberg/Hale match was decided (I believe) by 1 or 2 points, but don't know the score. I didn't see it until the final horn. They were in the pool opposite us, so I didn't get to see them much.
12. I think EC is going to New Pal. The schedule on our website is wrong, because it says South Dearborn Invitational (Knight's Classic), but I think that that is on 1/18 (according to Union Couty's website). I am a little out of touch this year. It doesn't help that South Dearborn's website still has the 2013-13 schedule. LOL

16. Where is the "Like" button? LOL
17. To back up a minute, I think the first post said that it is unfair for MD to be a Class 2A school. However, since they moved up to 3A for team state, the premise of the argument is invalid. That being said, Indiana is not the only state that deals with the public/private school issue. I graduated from Nordonia HS in Macedonia, OH (a publis school). Some of you may be familiar with the name because we won the D1/AAA (large school) wrestling title in 1977. The year before St. Ed's 10 titles in a row! After our title, private schools won 32 D1 titles in a row before Wadsworth stopped a St. Ed's streak of 13 titles in a row in 2010. While we did not win state again, we managed to remain competitive despite the fact that we were less than 10 miles from 2 private powerhouses - Cuyahoga Falls Walsh Jesuit (5x D1 state champ, 3x D2 state champ) and Bedford St. Peter Chanel (4x D2 state champ). Unfair? Sure, we thought so! We lost some of our best wrestlers to these schools. And any real chance of competing for state along with it. However, no one can tell me that the kids that went to private school would have received a better education had they stayed at my school. And no one will ever convince me that staying would have increased their chance of succeeding at the college level, either academically or athletically. At the end of the day, the focus should be based on what is best for the kids. Not some "public school wrestling parent/fan's" (of which I am one) perfect world. The funny thing is, I never went to a match the year we won the title (I was in 6th grade). I never even went to a match while I was in high school. The only reason that I ever went to a wrestling match is that when I got remarried, my stepson was a wrestler. He graduated last year, but I still follow the team (and still follow some of these crazy posts). Wrestlers and their fans/parents are a different breed, and if ever I were going to battle, I would want you all in my corner. REGARDLESS of school affiliation! Now back to your regularly scheduled rant........
18. I agree. Especially in light of all the new rules in place to discourage excessive (unhealthy) weight-cutting. I would be as surprised if they dropped to 138 as I would be if Dalton won a playof game.....
19. Yeah, we lost the majority of our team (hence our 12-13 team dual record versus 21-4 at this time last year), but Max is doing well. He spends a lot of time helping our younger wrestlers, too. Hopefully that will show in the years to come!
20. Yeah. Followed them all, but since he wrestled 60 most of the year and then dropped to 52, I paid special attention to 45, 52, and 60 (Dole, Gramman, Bischoff).
21. Hale wrestled 152 at the EC 8 Way on 12/21 (weighed 150). Can't imagine that he dropped to 38. But don't know for sure.....
22. LOL Thanks, Mak! Since my kid wrestled last year (for EC), I kept everything (Sectional, Regional, Semi State) and tracked a lot of the results. Wish I could get paid for doing this stat stuff! ;D
23. Amberger wrestled Gonzales in round 2 at Sectional, losing in OT. Amberger then got injured in his next match (which he won), and did not wrestle the 3/4 match, thus finishing 4th. Amberger was replaced at Regional by Orschell from FC due to the injury. Make sense?
