  1. You are correct, it was against Cathedral.
  2. So a wrestler doesn't make weight 1 time and you want to question is dedication to this sport. I seriously doubt that of all people to question, would be a wrestler like Egli. This kid is legit and I'd put money on him that he'll be one of the top 4 coming out of SS. We'll see how he does at Team State this weekend.
  3. Clay Egli at 106. May or may not have won.
  4. Yeah, it's a great tournament every year. Let's not forget EMD was without 3 of their studs this year though. While the other wrestlers filled in admirably, I believe the outcome in each of those weight classes would have been different had those guys been there. I don't know if other teams were missing their studs. Now looking at next year, I hope some teams have a great group of wrestlers coming into HS. Here's a breakdown of who is losing what Trinity(ky)-7. With 4 in the championship NP-6 EMD-5 Memorial and UC both with 4 AV-3 FR and MV-2 Other remaining teams with at least 1 impact wrestler
  5. Im not sure who this is directed at. I'm not Stan and my response was nonsense to Richyy's post(I just cut out what he posted). As for myself, I enjoy EMD wrestling as a whole. One thing I really enjoy about them, is their support for each other. The whole TEAM was matside on both of the big matches. They never have a match going where at least another team mate isn't there in support. Love it!!!
  6. Not saying anyone in here necessarily said that but after the match almost a lot of the mater dei fans were trying to take it away that it was a fluke that he didn't really win NONSENSE!!!
  7. From Mater dei classic Alec White (NP) Logan Dillbeck (GS) Chad Red (NP) Trevor Reese (FR) Jared Timberman (NP) Burk VanHorn (FR)
  8. 120 was definitely the best match. Both wrestlers kept majority of the action toward the center of the mat and poured everything they had into this match. Some of the best scrambles I've seen in along time. That's the difference between this match and 145. Majority of Lee's match was Lee the aggressor. ALOT of action ended up out of bounds and I think the ref should have enforced that a little better. Not sure if you want to call it fleeing as I did in another post, or was it Lee being so aggressive that it moved the action out of center. Blood time was insane, to the point I was concerned Lee was about to run out. With all that being said, 120 was more exciting, but I'd pay to see both again. As for nobody wanting to wrestle either of them, Bethel was right there with Timberman till he hurt his knee. Though he finished the .aatch and lost by 2, it definately affected him.
  9. I know there are several, even after the big tournaments. Who are they?
  10. I'd say that's pretty accurate other than I'd take Garcia at 106
  11. I think Brayton Lee may have something to say about that. You also have Austin Bethel who gave Timberman a heck of a match. Gonna be exciting that's for sure.
  12. Lee majored him last year at the holiday classic 19-7. Timberman closed that gap at the team state with Joe winning 14-11 which leads us to today. Great match
  13. Didn't fair well at the Midlands either. Came in at #8 seed 174#. Got majored in 1st match 8-0
  14. You can also add VanHorn(FR) by fall over Hudson Heidorf(Ky)#1
  15. Vanhorn pinfall Heidorf 170 - Buckman fall Moore (FR) EMD appears to have the tourney wrapped up as the team Champs. However, when was the last time that they didn't have an individual champ.
  16. overtime. Lee with quick shot. Flee by Timberman no penalty. More blood time
  17. Lots of blood stoppage time for Lee. Very agrees I've but can't get the td. Timberman so far being defensive Timberman td 3-0 Lee escape. 3-1. This place is CRAZY Lee chooses down to start 3rd. Escape 3-2 Penalty stall on NP. 3-3 You can feel the excited in this place. It's amazing 3-3 ..35 sec left and more blood stoppage
  18. 138 - Reese 1-0 Ervin 145- Lee vs Timberman 0-0 after 1 Timberman takes down. Escape 1-0
  19. 126 - Dillbeck Dec Bass 2-0 132 - Red vs Duncan 2-0 after 1 Escape Red to start the 2nd. 3-0 Red Lots of action in 3rd Final. RED-11 DUNCAN 5
  20. 120-Ervin(UC) vs Luigs(EMD) 0-0 after 1. Great scrambling Ervin down to start 2nd Late escape to end 2nd Ervin-1. Luigs 0 Luigs takes down in 3rd Ervin let's him up 1-1 Ervin takedown 3--1 FINAL
  21. Here we go 106- Garcia over Wheeler 7-3
