160 will be fun!! Should be #1 McCloskey vs #3 Tatum 170 also with #3 neibarger, #4 Scott, #11 floor I think 138 could be a upset in the finals!! that smith kid from lebanon is wrestling pretty darn good right now!

after 17 yrs I thought i was mccloskeys father, I knew something was up after seeing his ability to wrestle....i always knew something was fishy...oh well, so 17 yrs X $135 a week = $119,340.00 so I will be expecting back pay!!

Coach Parrish, i work with brian, courtneys dad. and when he told me about you doing this i found a whole new respect for you and you academy. And i know Brian and there family are over whelmed with the full support of you guys. To me this is what makes wrestling such a special sport, the relationships you build through this sport last forever. I just want you to know that im going to do all i can to help out also. Any one that has been around Austin for yrs knows he doesn't score alot of points, but controls the match. His position is very good, and he is very hard to score on. It only takes 1 point to win a match. It will be fun, anything can happen on any given day, but when u dont give up points, its kinda hard to get beat. I dont believe there is a lock in any weight class, well maybe sliga.....but anyone can be beat on any day.....but you have to score points to win ;D

I dont know if he was dodging anyone, but according to this post he did not wrestle and which I would guess he did not wrestle at all against fishers or it wod have said he bumped up to 220, but it says he did not wrestle

Don't understand this? I know you want your kids to have a good record for seeding purposes for conference and sectionals, but imo you dont get better unless you wrestle the best. Yes, sliga is a monster and chances are you would of giving up 6 anyway. We all have watch Mitch wrestle, he is not out there to hurt anyone. To me you must wrestle the best to get better. Not trying to make anyone mad, it just is one of my pet peeves that kids dodge other kids so they dont get beat. In some situations I understand you dont want to put a first yr wrestler out against a highly ranked stud. But Pickens is a solid wrestler. Not wanting to start an argument at all, just my thought on this situation.

I thought by rule you had to have 4 regular duals?? Can anyone give me the facts on this rule??

Interesting, maybe it was because we (I) wasn't very good, and was done first round of sectionals:)
