Technically since it isn't a seeded tournament then nothing happens...his spot is a FF....looks like Gettinger is the new front runner at 112

Todd didn't come....heard he was too much over and coach sent him home.

Phillips is to dominate on his feet...dont get me wrong I like Todd, but his only points will be from Cody cutting him.

I can guarantee that these brackets will not be the same.....every year people change weight classes the morning of and some of the weight classes will have to be re-drawn.

You can never guarantee that the best matches occur...There can always be a sleeper that nobody knows about or a kid that catches another kid...Thats why we wrestle!

Couldn't have said it better Mike...glad to see your gonna be back this year coaching at Connersville....as for a wrestler not being 100% , mentally if losing to a good wrestler in the first round, well that is their problem....If they are good too then it shouldn't make a difference. They should be ready to wrestle no matter what.

For me, it goes against everything that makes Connersville so special. Going in on day way and not knowing who you are going to draw in the first round, or who are on each side of the brackets. I have been apart of the Spartan Classic ever since I was in high school, and now as a coach, I would be upset if they did any kind of seeding, especially without consulting with the coaches. This tournament should not be seeded ever...Whats better than the best two kids in the weight class meet up first round??? Makes for one hell of a match!

I love to watch both Cody and Mason wrestle. Mason is an outstanding wrestler, but as bbulldog said, how do you pick against a kid that has never lost. Cody is going to my pick to win it all again....He is just too good....with that being said I hope that they are on opposite sides of the brackets so we can get the right finals match, but as everyone knows Connersville doesn't care who you are....I would love to see brackets too

New Castle Semi-State Rankings Final

Klinesmith beat him in OT when Chance slipped at Providence in the first weekend...Chance then beat him by I belive 3-4 points at regionals. Either way he should still be ranked in this semi-state above Roberts from BG because he has never lost to him. They will wrestle later this year, and maybe even meet up at Connersville, so I guess we will see.
