  1. That's a solid matchup, who do you have winning?!
  2. Thought the Thread was "Ticket Round matches", not wrestlebacks. If I wanted to read a three page debate on a wrestlebacks post I would have clicked on it! So How about you start a new thread on the subject......AGAIN, if you want to debate it!
  3. MV McHugh vs. Schurg 138... Wow!
  4. MV Miracle vs. Garcia 120 Wiseman vs Sopko 170
  5. Right on! I would think the success of Crown Point, Merrillville, Hanover Central of late, and who can forget the Griffith Team that took arguably the Best Team in Recent History to the wire at Team state....Da Region!
  6. Rat, who are the 4 you are predicting?
  7. Based on what I have read, I do not think the "REGION" has been talked up, as much as you say. But I do think the Merrillville Semi-State has, and rightfully so, since it has proven to be the strongest SS by the numbers over the last several years.
  8. Da True "Region" are the Schools in Lake County. 8) So for you the Geographically Challenged: East Chicago, All Gary &Hammond schools. Calumet, Crown Point, Griffith, Hanover Central, Highland, Hobart, Lowell, Lake Central, Merrillville, Munster, River Forest, Whiting. Now although there are a few excellent parochial HS in Da Region: Bishop Noll, and Andrean technically they are not considered Da Region because kids from over the fence or other counties may attend there. Any questions ;D
  9. Those are some pretty good picks. 132 Martslof will give Hartman another battle, 152 can go either way with Ferdig beating Manspeaker Twice, should be a battle. 170 no way I see Kolat winning this, 3rd place at best. Good luck to all wrestlers
  10. Is faking an injury time, every seriously looked at, or considered stalling? I witnessed this all day long by one team at a sectional last Saturday, and it was very frustrating how it was accepted. These kids looked to be in as good condition as other wrestlers from other teams, but after about 2 hours myself and several other parents could pretty much put a clock on the fact that after period 1 and 2 there was an apparent injury that miraculously healed itself with 20-30 seconds of rest. And Note, none, I repeat none were blood time. I realize that both wrestlers get a blow when this happens, but if this is accepted on a regular basis, I thinks it's a travesty.
  11. So if A thru D all beat each other at one time, and they all have the same record, but C wrestled Teo's girlfriend, then who gets the higher seed?
  12. Try 3X Gear, the banner is on the site. I have heard nothing but good things about the product and service.
  13. Sure would be nice if someone actually addressed the original question/message on a thread before going off on their own school Propoganda rant, I could give a crap if Some of you think WC is better than Penn or vice versa, Read the original message above, if you don't have any insight, fine. Just don't turn every post into your own personal agenda. If you want that then create your own post/poll/rant...IDGAF.
  14. What dual already took place? Penn and Warren have not wrestled. I must be missing something here? Please fill us in.
  15. Not my post. It's there just look. ;D
  16. Pretty sure you are correct on that, LMAO
  17. Well Said! So with that said, did some of the young men wrestling last night get the opportunity because it was an out of state match, or is the Flu hitting the area?
  18. Here we go again! But honestly, I highly doubt it. WC and Penn V1 would be a helluva a match, probably 6-7 points either way. But WC would whoop Penn V2 by 20+ in my opinion
  19. True, I guess that's a good problem to have if you are that deep.
  20. I was reviewing the details of the match that were posted. Very interesting it looks like Penn used no less than 6 possibly 7 V2 or JV wrestlers in this match. No sure if they had some sick boys, or 2 many points for the Varsity guys, either way looks like they dominated the match. Any insight anyone?
  21. Phillips, Cash and Hughes are studs! But although I hate to say it, I am with that WC guy on Wilson, I really like the kid! I think he is going to make some serious waves! I hope all 4 make to to the semi's that would be a dream final 4!
  22. Good lord, you guys are all so hyper sensitive. The original post from what I read was just a guy saying that Penn gave the Juggernaut Perry Meridian all they could handle in a match, and yes Penn Lost, and then went on to lose to a Very good Bloomington South Team. Maybe some you should not read between the lines when the actual text in a post insinuates nothing. It's very irritating to read how a simple post on this site gets turned into a bunch of defensive whining and bitching! Probably the repeat offenders are the same wrestlers in there day that stomped off the mat, and threw their headgear in a tantrum. There I can assume as well! Have a Happy joyous Sunday!
  23. LOL, True. I should have numbered it like 1 2T 4 5T 8 etc. You get the idea.
