regionrumbler
I understand it is 4 vs 1 and 3 vs 2, when four regionals go into a ss. I don't understand how it is determined which Regionals 4 meets which Regionals 1? Does it alternate from year to year and is it the same in every weight class? Is it possible to look at a SS bracket from last year and know what this years will look like? Also, if Regional A's 1 is paired against Regional B's 4 at 106, will it be the same in every weight class? Thank you.
Rookies03
It is random and is different for every weight class. This prevents a wrestler purposely losing during the regional to get a better draw at semi-state. I believe the same concept is used at the State.
