RASSLER4LIFE
With all the talk about how the CHAMPS should act after winning, I thought I would praise the actions of these fine young men who lost in the championship matches. All the while keeping their dignity and integrity. All of their actions spoke louder words! Each one while upset, shook hands properly and showed their respect to their adversaries. Enough can not be said about that.
wrestler_fan
Even though it was not the championship match but the reaction of both Broukal and Davis after the 132 3rd and 4th match showed the respect both have for each other. Both class acts and great wrestlers!
MattM
Several wrestlers pulled off one or more upsets that, at least on paper, they were never given a chance to win. While this definitely messes up some Pick'em's Contest results, it makes for a very exciting tournament. It is also a testament to the drive and hearts of the young men, who were willing to go out on the mat and battle rather than accept the fate many felt they had been dealt. While most did not end up achieving a state championship, their attitudes in those types of situation will end up taking them far in life and should be a lesson to many young wrestlers out there.
