frigginhurts Posted February 15, 2011 Share Posted February 15, 2011 parade is great, hearing kevin whitehead is better than anything else - especially when he announces an overtime match, quarterfinals early saturday morning working on about 3 hours sleep, semi finals excitement, face off before the finals - hearing kevin whitehead again, big upsets friday night and saturday, shaved ice, spending about $30 each session at the concession stand because i'm such a sucker, and most of all saving seats for my friends that are late. awood2 Posted February 15, 2011 Share Posted February 15, 2011 My favorite memory of last year was when we walked in for the finals and a vendor approached with only two shaved ice snacks left. I actually only wanted one. Being the salty veteran he was, he said to me, "...b/c I can see your a man that knows his shaved ice, I am going to make you a deal."
