diamondpocket
i'd really like to know from anyone .. how the state brackets are drawn?.. are certain semi states pitted against eachother by design?.. or is it totally random? for example.. lets say tsirtsis and mullins are in the same weight class the next two years.. ..and since they both will more than likely win their semi states.. will they always meet in the semi's? or will they ever be in different brackets? how is it done.. answers?.. thanks! maligned
Each weight class is randomly drawn each year. Each quarter of the bracket then has a semistate 1st place against a 4th place from somewhere else. Then, a 2nd place wrestles a 3rd place from the two remaining semistates. If Mullins and Tsirtsis, for example, wrestle at the same weight again the next couple years and win their semistates, they'll always have a 1 in 3 chance of being on the same side of the bracket.
