BlackshirtD
McCubbins was just a beast..Brian Butler from Hobart was on the World team with him, and they battled a few times with Butler winning once or twice in freestyle, but McCubbins won Greco if I remember correctly..Thought for sure that the 91' finals were for sure another Butler v.s. McCubbins matchup but Brian was upset in the quarters..Whatever happend to McCubbins at Purdue..I went to six flags with him and Jeremy Rivas in like 94 when they were down there but I never got the scoop. I didn't know him.
mrduckunder
Hands down at 171 i would put a Gill Journey in there. 2x state runner-up. very sound technique . one on the best on feet ever. If I am remembering correctly, Ruggerri wrestled at Senior Nationals and went 2 and out.

As good as Journey was, he beat me, so you know he had to be good , you can't put a guy with 0 state titles on the all decade team. Quickest guy I ever wrestled, that's for sure.
