AJ Posted July 1, 2009 Share Posted July 1, 2009 Good work Purdue: 13) Purdue Top Recruits: (157) Kendrick Sanders-South Dade, FL, (125) Camden Eppert-Anderson, IN, (125) Cashe Quiroga-Lawrence, IN, (141/149) Steven Sandefer-Mishawaka, IN .2009 was a second consecutive solid recruiting class for Coach Scott Hinkel. The Boilermakers were able to sign most of Indiana's best, including lower weights Camden Eppert and Cashe Quiroga. Both were 3x State Finalists, with Eppert winning two championships while Quiroga was able to finish as a Runner-Up at Senior Nationals. 2x State Champ Steven Sandefer will help bolster the middleweights. Purdue saved the best for last, going late into the spring before signing 3x Florida State Champ Kendrick Sanders. Kendrick was a Junior Greco-Roman National Champ at Fargo in 2008 and was also named to the Dapper Dan All-Star team after his Senior year.
