Mason-Montgomery Rd Mason, OH TIMES: Weigh In 7:30AM ? 900AM Wrestle 9:30AM FORMAT: 1 pool of 6 youth teams and 1 pool of 6 middle school teams Each team gets 5 matches Individuals will register and be randomly assigned to a team. Modified HS rules 3-60 second periods for youth 3-90 second periods of middle school COST: $20.00 per wrestler ? pre registration only WEIGHT CLASSES: Youth 45,50,55,60,65,70,75,80,85,90,95,100,105,110,120,135 Middle School 75,80,86,92,98,104,110,116,122,128,134,142,150,160,172,205,245 COACHES: 2 coaches will be assigned by the Tournament Director to coach each team. Anyone else who wants to coach their wrestler must purchase a coaches band for $5.00. AWARDS: Custom tournament trophies for the wrestlers on the top 3 teams. nosoccermomhere Posted March 27, 2009 Share Posted March 27, 2009 We regularly attend Mason tournaments and John and the rest of the Mason group do a great job. It is less than 2 hours from Indy and we are done wrestling here by then. Not to mention you can see Kings Island from the parking lot, so you can make it a weekend, wrestle on Saturday and do Kings Island on Sunday. Sounds like a plan to me. cometfan Posted March 27, 2009 Author Share Posted March 27, 2009 I forgot to mention that in Ohio, youth wrestling is K-6 and middle school is 7/8. 6th graders are welcome to wrestle in either division. You can download a form at http://www.masonyouthwrestling.com/Tournaments/Mason_Mixed_Team_Tournament.asp There are only 6 spots available per weight class and those spots will be given to the first who sign up.
