jchas Posted March 5, 2009 Share Posted March 5, 2009 Last year it was very hard to hear the anounsements during the meet. Are there going to be any changes to make it easier this year. base Posted March 5, 2009 Share Posted March 5, 2009 Why not do the matside pairing? I've seen it work wonderfully at so many tournaments. The wrestlers don't have to rely on the PA system in the huge fieldhouse either. They used it for the Elementary qualifiers earlier this year at Ben Davis and it ran without a hitch. I'd love to see this in place for Folkstyle state. The system of having runners call a weightclass into the backroom for pairing is past its time. italianmom Posted March 5, 2009 Share Posted March 5, 2009 This weekend at State since they are wrestling two age divisions on Saturday and two age divisions on Sunday, only one gym will be used and staging will be easier since everyone will be in one gym.
