jlittlejohn Posted January 22, 2009 Share Posted January 22, 2009 Bloomington High School South is hosting it's annual premier Middle School event this Saturday at IU's University Gymnasium, locataed at 10th & the Bypass (where IU wrestles their home meets). The eight teams are Batchelor M.S. (Bloomington), Center Grove M.S., Doe Creek M.S. (New Palestine), Evansville Reitz M.S., Jackson Creek M.S. (Bloomington), Evansville Mater Dei Junior Wildcats, Avon M.S., and Perry Meridian M.S. Wrestling is scheduled to begin @ 9:30 am. Of the eight teams, five represent top 20 high schools as currently ranked by IndianaMat.com; #2 EMD, #5 Perry, # 12 Reitz, # 14 New Pal., # 17 Center Grove and the other three teams represent honorable mention and highly regarded high school programs in Avon, Bloomington South & North. Very high quality middle school wrestling to say the least! And as a primer, this event will be preceeded on Friday night by the IU vs. Penn St. dual @ 7:00pm. So if your in the area and want to take in some great wrestling this weekend the Indiana University Gym is the place to be.
