It will take just one day to determine a season?s worth of work. Fourteen wrestlers will be named conference champions along with the team title being decided Saturday at North Montgomery High School. For the three Montgomery County teams, all have similar goals: compete at the highest level possible. For returning team champ Southmont, the Mounties will look to continue their winning trend. They will be led by two reigning champs Nathan Whitlow and Nick Hodges. Ryan Chism ? the reigning 145 champ ? will miss the tournament due to a shoulder injury. ?There are at least four schools that have a good shot,? Southmont coach Jamie Welliever said. ?All eight teams have some good wrestlers as well.? The Mounties will be without 160-pounder Cody Haslam (knee) as well.
