What happened with the match of #7 Forte and #8 Halsted , I saw that Halsted forfeited , is he OK . I thought that would have been one of the best matches of the day .

Who wins this battle of the #4 vs #1 at 112 ? I think the experience and the strength of Sarah will be to much for the younger Denton . She's been to so many tournaments with the pressure of winning as a girl this is just everyday for her . But the pressure Denton will have is incredible , I've seen good wrestlers trying so hard not to lose to her that they make mistakes that they would have never made against a boy wrestler . If you think that pure strength will beat her your wrong , I guarantee she is just as strong and as fast as Denton .

Agree completely with this quote , it seemed last year he took Petrov for granted and paid for it in the end , the way he looked at the Al Smith I could see him going to and possibly winning the State finals , he improved so much physically and mentally from last year .

I will take Sarah Hildenbrandt over Denton from Twin Lakes , I personally don't think it's an upset his record is good but his loss is to a 103 lber . He hasn't wrestled any top 112 's yet , where Sarah has .

I say Denton won't have to worry about Jarred , he won't get past Sarah . Martsolf who's a very good wrestler who only beat Hilde 3 - 0 would overpower Denton . If he got lucky and got past Sarah I'm not sure what kind of wrestlers Lechowitz and Seroff are .

Have you ever seen Brookes wrestle , Denton is not even close to being in his class ,he will be lucky to get past Sarah . Dentons only tough matches this year has been against 103 lbers ' and he beat Buckely and lost to Mecic , remember Brookes was a State Qualifier last year at 103 and he's a lot bigger and meaner this year . Wouldn't get past the 1st .

So he beat a 103 lb wrestler he had 9 lbs on , and this wrestler will probably not get a ticket to the big show because of Marciano being in his way . I sure wouldn't put that in my resume . I guess his only loss is to Micic (another 103 pounder) , has he wrestled anyone ranked , or over 103 lbs ?

Sarah Hidebrandt will have the upset of the of the tournament by overpowering Denton in the 1st round of the tourney . She's a much more experienced wrestler with much tougher competition . Who has Denton wrestled this year that compares to the wrestlers in the South Bend area ?

Couldn't have said it better myself , saw Garza at the Al Smith and was very impressed , I saw Buckly at the Traicoff and wasn't , I thought Buckly was way overrated and will not make it out of Merr. Semi .

Just a curious question for the rankings guy , why do some of the brackets have the top 20 and some only have top 16 ?

It hardly seems fair that Gettings would get knocked out of the sectionals after wrestling 95% of the varsity matches at 112lbs. , and he's done a pretty good job of it . Does anyone know how many wrestle offs the two have had ?

MERR. did not look like a #4 ranked team at the A.S. , they better have all their horses when they go up against CP or it will be a long night .

Marciano got lucky last year and barely beat Sarah at Semi State , this year if they meet Kayla will win this match , she's a much better wrestler than Marciano or Sarah .

Halsted only lost to Wisler 6-5 at the Traicoff , and had Wisler on his back , and Wisler is a lot better wrestler than Padilla .
