  1. Miss Hildebrandt just wanted to wish you good luck this weekend at the prostegious Sunkist Open in Phoenix, AZ. We are all wishing you the best of luck and bring home another National Title to the state of Indiana.
  2. During a RTC at Penn I heard they are taking 4 teams yes 4 teams. They will be coached by fathers and volunteers the last couple of days. Should be interesting.
  3. I would not rule out Penn in this talk either. They were young with 10 starters returning next year. They had a very young JV team 7-8 frosh on the line-up) that finished the year with 3 losses (1 to Mishawaka by 1pt, 1 to Elk Mem who had 5 varsity guys in their line-up, and 1 to Edwardsburg in a varsity tournament). I hear they have numbers in the 100's at the beginning of the season and eneded with 88 at the end of the year. As well as over 130 youth kids at their club. WOW talk about a program on the rise.
  4. Sarah is 14-1 on the year. She was 5-0 at Elk Memorial Invite, 5-0 at the Edwardsburg tournament, 2-1 at the Penn Super Dual, took a FF against Marian and beat a good Washington kid.
  5. Sarah Hildebrandt is 13-1 and Sammy Ferdig is 27-4
  6. As a fan of Indiana wrestling, I am so GLAD that these "predictions" are being made so early. It is such good locker room material to post. To count teams out at such an early stage. If I remember correctly Mishawka/ Penn match was the closest one of the year for Mishawaka Bellmont/ Yorktown Mucutchen/ Delphi. Anything can happen and I am glad to see that these young men will have something to prove in two weeks.
  7. I would like to congratulate Miss Hildebrandt on a great weekend in Northern Indiana. Being a former Penn grad I was surprised and shocked when I found out three years ago that my ALMA Mater had a female wrestler on it's team. But watching her over the past years has made me realize that she does belong in this sport and she has made an impact all over the state of Indiana as well as the rest of the country. I have spoke to coach Harper over the years and he has told me that she is the hardest worker in his room, and everyone respects her. I knew she has had some great wins in the womens realm of wrestling throughout the country but for her to win a highly respected tournament in the Charger Invite is a great acomplishment not only for her but for her coaches and family. Keep up the hard work Miss Hildebrandt and take it to the Caveman on Thursday.
