Rough start to the day for the boys One win so far with the team score being 30-9. Wisconsin is next. They are streaming their matches live at www.themat.tv if you want to watch that one.

We are wrestling Tennessee first round and doing very well. Trackwrestling has brackets up and all that good stuff if you want to follow the results

There was some GREAT competition there. Not a single kid that wasnt a stud, IMO. Got out of there a little late but knowing the sacrifces the Franklin people made to see to it that we had brackets up and ready I'm not going to complain. Thanks to everyone, we had a great time. Also, thanks for the update on Matthew. My heart sinks when I see a kid hauled off on a stretcher and instantly send up prayers but am usually left wondering how they are so its nice to know he is home and on the mend.

I dont know you, I dont even have a high school wrestler yet but my little guy has gone to many state tournaments with his dad to watch. I am so sorry to hear about what happened last year but you are SO right. I love wrestling because it teaches SOOOO much more than a few moves. I have seen my son form friendships with his rival's and while things can get intense while the kids are on the mat that is left right there........on the mat. I wish you the best of luck this weekend!!

I second that! I was very surprised to see wrestling start right on time. Things went very smooth while we were there. Unfortunately we also left sooner than we were hoping but I say things went very well. Great competition there, kids looked very good! WTG to all those who placed! -
Hey now dont kill the messenger......lol. I had to email someone with an issue I had and that is what I was told. All I know is the tournament hasnt even started and things are jacked up........I am planning on being there ALL day tomorrow because I dont see how things will go smoothly. Oh well, time will tell. Good luck tomorrow to everyone!

They were pulling the registrations periodically and didnt wait until the end for the updated registrations so kids who had changed weight classes were not put in the correct weight class.
