With comments like this, I am worried about your safety. Put down the CP Kool Aid before you get Kool Aid poisoning. 4-5 state champs in one year is unheard of and your comment wreaks of bias. I'm going to take a shot in the dark and say you wrestled at CP. Sorry to say but 4 state champs in one year is not unheard of. Mater Dei did it in 2003 and Griffith did it in 2004 so to say it is unheard of would be wrong. Didn't LN do it, around my senior year I think (92).

From my time on the mat, I always thought it was a good idea to not keep the match close enough to let the ref decide. Silly me.

So as a Senior, you need to win, or you fail. Correct? I would say if you left EVERYthing on the mat, it doesn't matter if you won or lost. Maybe I am naive.

No offence, but I mean, thats not that bad of a loss, when you look at it, Hall did beat Sandefer, not like its going to happen again, but hes no slouch and he compete with the best of them any loss as a senior at state is a bad loss.... Is that right? You know what, thinking about it....if you are just happy to be there and you draw into a stud then maybe there is such a thing.... What does your grade have to do with how you perform??? Think first, type second.

I would love my sons MSW team and my HS team to also. But we just hope they learn and enjoy it now-a-days, winning comes secondary, IMO. I don't keep secrets, my name is David McCubbins, the old and washed up one with the same name. If you are old and washed up what the heck does that make me since I was involved in your championship match at Jr Nationals? It makes you a seasoned veteran.
