  1. GOOD LUCK TO ALL WRESTLERS TOMORROW AT REGIONALS. A special Good Luck to those who will be at the Berry Bowl. A shout out to some very special fellas from West Central....Wyatt, Dillan, Parker, Logan, Steven, Bryce and Jordan...leave it ALL on the mat...be aggressive...wrestle hard and wrestle smart...remember NO ONE is unbeatable. Give it all you got and let's all go to Merrillville next weekend! Go after 'em guys!!!!! Phil 4:13 ;D
  2. I agree...Kult IS a man on a mission...a very important mission...his mission is to beat Schultheiss in order to win regional. He's got some other personal reasons to beat this kid too...got get 'em Dustin ;D
  3. Coming from a school of 270 students in grades 9-12, West Central is taking 6 guys to the regionals tomorrow. Quite an accomplishment for Coach Kenny and Coach Jason and their staff. Best of Luck to the following West Central wrestlers tomorrow at Logansport. Cody Denton (103), Dillan Rehn(125), Logan Wuethrich (160), Steven Masters (189), Bryce Tanner (215) and Jordan Culp (285). Give it ALL YOU'VE GOT boys...so proud of the West Central wrestling program. Looking forward to semi-state next weekend!!!! PIN TO WIN
  4. Nope - Tanner wasn't defeated by Twin Lakes - he pinned Hahn from North White and then Whitlock from Pioneer to get to the championship. In the championship, he was defeated by Lewis Cass 12-3.
  5. I agree - let's move on. I get on here and read what everyone posts - gets me all p****d off. You know it doesn't matter what conference the kid comes from, how big their school is, who their coach is...all wrestlers go out onto that mat with the intent to do their best and ultimately win! No one goes out into that circle planning to lose, what the heck people. After sitting yesterday at Twin Lakes for HOURS and HOURS watching kids (and that's exactly what they are) wrestle their hearts out...it makes me very proud to be a part of the sport of wrestling. It's so incredibly difficult to watch at times; sometimes it's heartbreaking and sometimes there's so much pride and elation - I can hardly stand it. Great job wrestlers yesterday - every single one of you should be proud of all the hard work you put into the sport. Let's get along and praise these kids for their dedication to the great sport. Looking forward to regionals. OK, I'm getting off of my soapbox now...
  6. It was something to see! Unbelievable - 3 SECONDS!!!!
  7. The first match-up between these two was 71-6 in favor of Delphi. WC has the potential to better that score by a LOT. If everyone shows up and wrestles their best, who know what the outcome will be. GOOD LUCK TROJANS!!!
  8. Best of luck to the Trojan wrestlers as they face the Oracles from Delphi tomorrow night in the regional team competition. Each and every one of the Trojans have worked hard this season and they ALL have made a difference. Coach Kenny and Coach Jason have given up so much time to make this team what it has become. Thank you isn't nearly enough to say to them. They have spent time away from their families to make these boys better. To "mad" - you certainly have a way of making people mad. Kudos to you if that's what your purpose is. It will be really sweet if your predicted score turns out to be right. Good Luck Trojans! Wrestle Hard!! You CAN do it!!! ;D
  9. My initial response to this was BLAH, BLAH, BLAH...deal with the fact that your Warriors didn't win-period. It doesn't matter where North White's Rowe was (please pray for him) and it doesn't matter where Kramer from Frontier was and it doesn't matter where Perkins was. What matters is that the Trojans WON - fair and square - the Warriors didn't win and the Trojans did. Be a man and deal with it. Nobody likes a crybaby!!!
  10. Unthinkable champions - I THINK NOT!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WEST CENTRAL WRESTLING TEAM - TWIN LAKES SECTIONAL TEAM CHAMPIONS!!! First time in WC history!!! ;D ;D ;D Kudos to Coach Kenny and the ENTIRE team. They certainly deserve it. They have 8 of their 14 wrestlers being individual regional qualifiers - that says a lot for the team. I can't understand why "madhungarian" can't just congratulate the team and deal with the fact that the Mighty Trojans beat the Warriors for the THIRD time this year - deal with it - it seems that you are the only coach who absolutely can't let winners be winners and losers be losers without having an excuse for everything. Again, CONGRATULATIONS to the Trojans and a special congratulations to Dillan Rehn - WC's lone sectional champion on the day.
