  4. I'm attempting to compile a list of all former MWC champions for NW, I've checked the MWC website but therevare only records for this season, I remember thr old website having archive's too look through & see previous records Does anybody know where I could get older MWC results? 90s & 80s ? Thanks! http://www.mwcschools.net/
  5. Overmeyer at 126, Williams at 120, it has been annotated
  6. MVW will be interesting some really good wrestlers will be on the mat Saturday NW Hileman, Holeman, Williams Wc- wietrich & fritz Pioneer- Johnson Those r my top 6, I haven't seen winamac wrestle idk who there top wrestlers are
  7. Coach of the year, most valuable wrestler? Any predictions? Obviously I'm hoping for a NW victory, but the winning team doesn't always win these 2 awards Coach Holeman has led the Vikings to the best season in school history 28-5 in dual competition, a #5 ranking in 1A team rankings, & wins over a ranked fountain central team & lewis Cass who finished 3rd at this year. Team state event. Coach Holeman also went over the century mark this season in wins as a head coach, It's been a good yr for the Vikings Kenny Nielsen has led West central to another good season, they have had some big wins too Both coaches r deserving of the award, both have been great for their respective schools & great for the conference Those r my 2 nominations
  8. Lost to Thomas from.TL in semis 152, was tough class, Thomas & the Delphi freshman good match too, maybe a regional finals preview? Twin Lakes Sectional at 152 tough Thomas TL Fritz WC Martin RC Ball NW Ball & Fritz should wrestle again this Weekend in conference finals, should be good match
  9. Johnson #1, not sure on rest of seeds. I was at class tonight, got NW seeds from HC
  10. North White will be looking for our first Conference Championship in. School history! No easy. Task, west central has been the team to beat last few. Yrs & winamac always wrestles tough This should be a great day of wrestling, I'm very excited,! Goodluck to all wrestlers!

  12. Congrats! 350 is a great accomplishment! Some great programs & coaches on that list! 800!!! Wow
  13. The North White wrestling team, parents, & coaches would like to give a big. thank You to Purdue Head Coach Scott Hinkle & Assistant Coach Chris Fleeger for coming to watch our team wrestle tonight on senior Night! It meant a lot to our team to see those coaches in the stands, really fired them up! The Vikings defeated south newton 63-11 to complete dual competition this season. We finish 28-5 overall, a new school record for wins in a season NW has sent numerous kids to boiler elite the last few seasons & it has drastically improved our wrestling team! We hope to send even more this yr along with sending as many wrestlers as possible to the summer Purdue wrestling camps Good luck to Purdue the rest of the season, NW will be bringing a bus Load full down to watch u wrestle Penn State Jan 29th & IU February 11th
  14. 195: #8 jacob ricks BC vs #13 kevin winkle TL
  15. 1. His favorite memory as a coach? ( He's coached 2 national champions Escobedo 08 Dubuque 05 & 06) 2. His favorite memory as a Wrestler? (4x big ten.champion, 3x NCAA runner up 1x national champ) 3. What it's like coaching his son at the collegiate level
  16. Thats a pretty bold statement. Of course I bleed Viking blue but I give respect to other wrestlers when it is deserved. Madrano is a good wrestler, however anyone who watched the match seen Hileman dominate the mat. Hileman came out got a TD in first 20 seconds & had him turned on his back, Hileman was the aggressor entire match I don't think madrano took mote then 4 shots, backed up a lot, Hileman drove him out of bounds numerous Times. Hileman wasn't close to giving up a TD at all he controlled the entire match. Hopefully these 2 meet up again in the regional finals I'd love to see it. No disrespect to madrano but I'd be very surprised to see Hileman lose to him. It's wrestling, anything can happen so only time will tell Goodluck

  18. I did have completed brackets & records but its on.the coaches bag ill see if I can get it tomorrow Our 160 Hileman lost 1-0 to Thomas from Twin Lakes, gave up escape with 15 seconds left in the 3rd. I'd love to see a rematch but Thomas is now at 152 Thomas wrestled a good match, Colins conditioning was no where near it is now, our first wrestling tournament of the season. No excuses, but since then he's dominated the mat & his conditioning is night & day, now with 2 lbs allowance he will be even stronger not cutting so much, he has great weight control. Colin has really stepped it up a notch the last few weeks he's hungry to make a deep run in the tournament. Lookin back that loss really motivated Colin & he's gotten stronger every week since
  19. I have talked to.Colin about it numerous Times this season, he's a senior & his goal is to be a SQ It's definitely a possibility. We have discussed this many Times, whe knows in order to Have the best opportunity u need to go into semi state as a regional champion & a #1 seed. He has beaten every sectional opponent & now beat the top 160 in the lafayette Jeff sectional. Big confidence boost. Colin should definitely win.TL sectional & more then likely face madrano in regional finals, if I had to pick now those 2 would be my pick Colin knows what he needs to do & he handles pressure well. I don't think me saying this has any affect on how he wrestles. When Colin wrestles the way he is capable regional champipt is definitely in his reach We talk about taking it one match at a time, wrestle the way he is capable & good things will happen, myself & other coaches r very confident in Colin & we expect a lot out of him. He has stepped up big this season, in our toughest Duals hes stepped up got a few pins & major decisions. If we didn't think Colin could handle the pressure we wouldn't put it on him. Still a lot of wrestling left this season & anything can happen we r just being realistic, looking at the future & setting some goals
  20. 160 Colin Hileman NW beat madrando mccutcheon 3-2, the match score looks close but Colin dominated the match, had him on his back on the edge within one minute intothe match, multiple takedowns on edge of the mat out of bounds, if there in the middle Colin wins big, Colin has yet to allow a TD this season 32-1. Overall I think he will win the logansport regional, probably be him vs madrando in the finals, Colin is looking great right now, hopefully he can keep it rolling into sectional & beyond Of course I'm confident in him but last few weeks have had multiple coaches say they would be surprised to not see him wrestling at bankers life! 160 is stacked at Merrilville, some real good wrestlers going to be left out
  21. Colin.Hileman pins WL for 160lbs championship, NW finished with 5 runner ups Team Scores Lebanon 205 WL 185 NW 173
  22. Team Scores heading into finals round Lebanon 171 NW 165 WL 155?
  23. Hileman wins 3-2, Colin wrestled well & has yet to allow a TD all season, the 2 points came from escapes. He will wrestle WL Clayton in the finals NW has 6 finalist 120 Inman vs Hawthorne Seeger 145 Holeman vs Campbell Lebanon 160 Hileman vs Clayton WL 182 Emerich vs Steffy Lebanon 195 Mcburnett vs pigg Fountain Central 220 Rodgers vs Krause WL
