We were 4 points/2 Match wins away from going 9-0. No excuses both WC and Calumet stepped up against us and won the close matches. Our team will learn from our mistakes and hopefully get the W next time we face off. Losing 2 duals by 1 point will only make us better in the long run, we are getting tested & that's what we want. Still a lot of wrestling this season & I still believe our team is one of the best in class 1A. This was a very good tournament all around, lots of good competition! Good job to the Caston Coaches & Administration for hosting a very successful tournament, it's always run very well. Calumet beat West Central 34-33 to go 9-0 & win the Team Championship

    Actually the score was 37-36 not 61-60 Also there is already a caston Duals thread, why the need to create a New thread to post the score? The best teams are HUMBLE teams. Win with pride & lose with pride. Leave everything on the mat Proud of our Vikings they wrestled hard, can't complain about the heart. Losing 2 duals by 1 point will only make us better in the long run, we are getting tested & that's what we want. Still a lot of wrestling this season & I still believe our team is one of the best in class 1A

    Only other match score I know of is FC over Pioneer 48-30 West Central over FC but don't know dual score, I know it was by 10+ Tomorrow will be very exciting & interesting too ser how things turn out & who wins the Tournament as a team Goodluck to all

    NW went 3-1 tonight, Will wrestle 5 Duals tomorrow NW over pioneer 52-25 NW over Judson 72-9 Calumet over NW 37-36 Calumet came to wrestle tonight we gave up a few pins & a major decision. We had one wrestler lose 3-2 on a close call, reversal was awarded aa Time expired referee facing away from the clock didn't see time not all his fault. But our guys have to learn that every point counts u can never stop wrestling until that whistle blows! NW over Clinton prairie 78-6 our guys wrestled well to finish the night! Big matches tomorrow against west central & fountain central should be some exciting Duals

    New 1A rankings released North White #5 & Fountain Central #8 These teams wrestle last and could potentially be 8-0 & the winner of this dual could win the tournament Calumet & West Central are also very good teams & will be looking to take down the 2 teams with bullseyes on there backs! This will be a very exciting duals tournament, the fans r in for a treat! Goodluck to all teams competing!

    Big thanks to broadcast for streaming these duals live! Wahoo to Jimtown! That's awesome that the school is supporting the wrestling team! Great school spirit! Hopefully more schools embrace there wrestling team like this & congratulate them for making it to the state finals! I'm glad to see each size of school represented in this 3 class team state tournament! Looking forward to watching these duals

    I seen that FC is 5-0, who all have they wrestled? Match scores? Fountain Central won this tournament last yr I believe they will be tough to beat, it should be a good dual with North White NW & West Central will be an intense dual, conference rivals! Definitely excited for this one

    Our 113 is a girl she has wrestled 2 yrs & is also a manager. She weighs 103 but can't beat our 106 so she wrestles 113. Based on thr matchups we might bump up our 106 to 113. She is recovering from an injury, she did not wrestle today. She should ne ready to take the mat this weekend

NW had 3 individual champs at 126,152, & 160 *The Vikings FF 2 weight classes all day at 113 &120 & the Vikings were also without 4 starters today at 120,132,182, & 220.     Thanks Mali! Yeah it looks like they did a great job based on current rankings! It will be interesting to see the new rankings that will include some results from how these teams are performing this season. So when us the tournament I thought I seen something like Dec 22? Where will these duals take place? Looks like there will br some very good duals Thanks in advance!
