  2. How would you have teams qualify given the current rules in place? I don't disagree that having to qualify would be better, but it is not possible given the current rules that are in place, so why complain about something we can't change?
  3. The old way is not an option anymore, so what way that can actually happen would be better?
  4. What set-up that is realistic would be better?
  5. I can tell you that if I was running unite with out her we wouldn't have much of a magazine, hahaha. She did a lot of work on this issue, I am only pointing this out because it took a lot more than any other issue that we have done. It also took work on the part of 24 programs from all around the state to get it done, so without those coaches we would not have anything. Another thing that I think is really cool is that U.S.A. Greco coach Steve Fraser wrote an article for this issue. Having him write for it is really cool, and the article is very interesting. I know that putting it together I have focused on the team profiles, but give the article a read as well. Its really good, and a really big honor to have him add to our magazine.
  6. It will only be an e-version. Jd also collected information for the teams so there will be a hard copy program as well, it will be rosters, no team pics, etc. If you want to view this I would bring a tablet or smartphone. I would recommend getting a hold of the pdf for viewing on a smart phone. I have a droid, and have had trouble viewing this on my phone, but the pdf works really well. Email me at samriesen1@yahoo.com, and ill send you or anyone who wants one a pdf copy that works a little better on a phone, and could be printed if you would want to.
  7. I'm starting to notice a few things that should be changed, we were pressed for time, we will try to get some revisions tomorrow evening. Thanks to all the coaches for getting the info to me, and my wife for putting it all together.
  8. Wormcaslte has lost twice this season. He was undefeated, but lost Thursday at Westview, and Saturday to Carroll.
  9. We are in the process of putting together a Unite that will feature the teams involved in the team state. If you know the coach for any of the following teams please have them contact me. 3a Center Grove Penn 2a Heritage Hills Danville Southmont 1a Milan Prairie Heights Also Muncie South, South Putnam and Cathedral, I still need pieces of info from you. Thanks if you could have these coaches contact me on here or at samriesen1@yahoo.com that would be great.

  11. I know that class 1A are do Wed. by noon, I would assume the others are as well. Im sure its a ton of work getting all of the results put in. Thanks for doing it.
  12. Joe are the genius rankings going to be compiled before the votes need to be turned in for this weeks rankings? I find them to be really helpful when doing the team rankings. I am sure they take a ton of work, so no complaints if they are not out, just curious if they would be.
  13. Unless North got moved, which I don't think that they did, but may have with the sectional changes, they will meet up in the sectionals as well.
  14. Man I am not attempting to manipulate anything. I brought forth something that I thought would be good for discussion. The topic has lasted 7 pages, so I would say it has been something that people have differing opinions on. I have said that I was in the wrong. The situation in the end comes down on me. I thought it would be a good discussion, so stop trying to make it seem like something it is not, i'm not trying to excuse myself, or to take the blame off of me. Just bringing a debate to the table. Also stop claiming that my story has changed during this. I am telling you what happened, my wording may be confusing at times, but I promise you i'm not looking for an excuse for my screw up.
  15. Yes, but because he was screwing around, not because I thought it would be a violation. I have said this the entire time.
  16. Y2 to your point I should have been more stern with the athelete no question about that, but that was based on the fact that he was screwing around, not that I thought about a potential violation.
  17. This is exactally what I have been trying to say. Y2 does this answer your question?
  18. I just explained this, he was screwing around. I told him to stop screwing around. He took a drink of water, telling me he said he needed to stay hydrated. He told me he would put the water bottle up. I said o.k. and walked to the front of the line. I didn't talk to him after that point. This is in now way different than what I have said the entire time. I never told him he couldn't drink the water, it never crossed my mind. Again this is what I said from the first point on, the funniest part of this all is that you are claiming that you know that I know something that I honestly dont. Its really pretty funny.
  19. Whats not adding up? I have never claimed not to have seen him take a drink of water. I have said from the first point on that he was screwing around in line. After I saw him take a drink, he told me he would put the water bottle up, I was telling him to put it away because he was screwing around, not because I thought anything of the drink, just because he was screwing around. I then went to the front of the line and watched my other wrestlers weights. He was in the back of the line and I hadn't checked on him after I talked to him, like I have said all along. So what part of that is new? I have never said he didn't take another drink, I honestly didn't see him as I was in the front of the line. There were ten teams inside of an auditorium. I dont know what your accusing, but I feel I have been pretty open in this situaition, and have never once denied that I am at fault. This is exactally what has been discussed the whole time, I was simply answering the question of why he had a water bottle in line detective.
  20. He was screwing around in line. I told him to put the bottle away, and he said something along the line of coach I need to stay hydrated, and took a drink, he then told me not to worry he would put it away before he got up there. I didn't think anything of it, and he told me this week that he had a few drinks after that. I don't want to give off the impression that he was hiding the fact that he was taking a drink, he wasn't it was in the open. I appologize if that is the impression anyone had gotten. In the end like I have said it is my fault for not thinking to warn him. No question a rule was broken, no doubt that it was a dumb situation on our end. Just wanted to clear that up it seems that some people may have the impression that it was a single drink, he was messing around and had a couple drinks. Again it was obvious in my opinion that he wasn't trying to gain weight, but he was screwing around for sure. Either way from what I hear it was pointed out to the officals by another coach, it was an odd weigh-in situation, in an audtorium. It has made for ian intereesting discussion.

  22. Seeing that the first statement was a situation that I have already clearly admitted to having done, I figured the second was directed my way as well. I felt it was reasonable to assume that you were at least insinuating that it was me. If you say it was meant to be an anonymous situation, and not directed my way, I can live with that, I just want to make sure it wasn?t directed at me or our program is all.
