    how does charlie mcginley drop from three to six with no losses yet venezia(my nephew and i love him dearly)jumps to number four from nine or ten after losing to cambpell? i dont understand.

    how many coaches can anyone think of that never wrestled in their life yet coach(ed) and be sucessful? ie fritz from beech grove.

    yes i believe so all i know is that he had a stash and wore glasses and was very tall and thin and always wore beech grove colors at the matches.

    that great big tall guy , he wore glasses, that was a huge beech grove fan. he was everywhere in the 80s and early 90s i forget his name but he was a true beech grove guy.

    ill take my nephew for the win in one that he squeaks(yes price is tough) by in a 2-1 or 4-3 score matchup. if michael gets on top how will price do against the tremendous leg riding that coach mcginley teaches? i cant see price getting away but anything can happen in a tough match.

    predictions? i see one heck of a wrestling match here. Venezia is a tall 19 whereas Price is smaller. they have both won the city title before .who wins this possible finals match(anything could happen thats why i say possible matchup)? and what do you see as the score of the matches outcome?

    no far stretch at all to call cosaro a cousin just ask his parents. my own opinions are my own just like yours. since you know me so well we can take this up at the city tourney.ill be there and if you have the gall and guts we can talk FACE to FACE. my feelings on this is that you wont show and if you do you will avoid me but trust me ill be looking for you.see ya at the city!

    how would the irish fare in the tough county tourney? im not taking anything away from the city tourney just wondering how the irish would do as a team and how many individual champs they would have?

    cathedral has been winning the city since 81-82(i was on the team) however coach kevin troy(a former cathedral wrestler and on our city championship teams) in his first year of head coach at roncalli won the city in 1988 then again in 1998 .then roncalli left for the county. as a matter of fact in 98 the roncalli team had tee shirts made up that read "Leaving On Top" when cathedrals coach lance rhodes saw them he had a conniption fit and was Furious(i bet their practice the next week was pure punishment) however cathedral is always a strong choice for the city tourney.i for one would like to see the irish put the whole lineup in the finals and have them all win(something thats never been done before) go returning city champ nephew Mike Venezia and cousin Vinny Cosaro.

    another great match up in 83 state finals was mike silverman from carmel vs barry hart from elkhart central. it was hart who hit two or three gramby petersons for the win as silverman was beating him pretty good. great match to watch.hart was a move in from michigan where i believe he placed third the yr before there.
