    How tough is the Carroll and New Haven sectionals though. New Haven and Homestead? Carroll and Garrett and Whitko? Those are some tough teams

    From the Adams Central Team Regional who has the best shot to win. I am picking: Garrett vs. Homestead Yorktwon vs. Bellmont Then I see Garrett vs. Yorktown Then Yorktown winning

    That's a wahoo to you ff. So...no practice...do you think that affects the wrestlers?

    Where are you from boot?? If you can get the AD to ok it, you could have them "check" their weight....and maybe allow a little weight cutting time. Getting AD's to help out with wrestling seems to be a problem though.

    Any schools besides jay county cancelled in the like: Union, Wayne, Randolph, Jay(which is closed), Delaware, Henry, Adams, Grant, Blackford, or Rush?? Just curious

    I don't see them getting cancelled. The snow is done and most schools should be in session tomorrow. Except for down down south. Good luck to you in your first sectional...its a great experience

    Is this sectional the toughest sectional going into the Ft. Wayne Semi-State? Looks like it to me. A lot of quality wrestlers and teams at this sectional.

    Well I think there is a possibility of Chalfant and Janney seeing each other this weekend (100%), and maybe just maybe next weekend too (90%). But I don't think they will see each other in the finals after that. Chalfant has proven himself, the last two years and this year. Janney is good, but I'm not sure that he has proven himself yet. I'm not sure that he has seen anyone close to chalfant. Chalfant will see his toughest matches at State. White, Clark, Arthur, and Fitzy. Fitzy will give him the biggest threat. But he will have to see at least two if not three of these guys and that is where we'll see what kind of man Chalfant is.

    Predictions on Chalfant vs. Janney this Saturday in the FINALS I predict Chalfant with a 10-3 win over Janney.

    I agree that Martin is a good wrestler. But if he isn't ranked then so be it. He'll prove it if he is worthy. But dont' worry...Y2 is having a bad day today. He has been angry on another post today as well. Good luck to all 140 and good luck to your Mr. Martin. wish you the best!

    Does anyone have a list of what Sectionals will be at certain semi-states? Like where does the delta sectional go? Or the Jay county Sectional? Which semi-state do they go too? Just wondering if there was a list somewhere to see all the semi-states and what schools are there? Thanks

    Yes they will. I just wondered who would have their heavyweight more prepared. Yorktown or Winchester?

    At least Chalfant has to be an honorable mention. Have you not seen that kid. POUND for POUND!!! He cant' weight more than 230 and runs through the HWT class. He weight like 220 last year and finished 2nd. That is a true pound for pound wrestler. I hope that kyle was supposed to be michael. Cause he has to be on there as well.

    Yes both teams are very well coached. Yorktwon has been well coached for years. Winchester was very well coached by Ron Anderson for years and years. They have two young guys in there now that are doing an ok job. But not as much experience as Yorktown or Ron. But which team has their Heavyweight better coached right now. Yorktown or Winchester?

    How does Adam Chalfant, Cody Phillips, Michael Duckworth, Devan Jackson not get any LOVE?? At least Chalfant and Duckworth should be somewhere on that list!!!

    Wow. Winchester won another title. Congrats Surprised me. Way to go Centerville. What TEC wrestlers will have the best shot at Semi State and State?

    Alright, tired of hearing all this crap about weight. I don't think Duck would do it if he couldn't. I'm sure his coaches understand what is going on. LET IT BE. They ain't dumb and neither is Duck. SO drop it. But back to the topic of the kids and the sport. Are there any upsets for a Number 1 seed or Number 2 seed first round? What are other peoples ideas and picks now that the brackets are out?

    Wow, either Duckworth is a smart or the coaches. That is one way to ensure that Winchester doesn't win the title again. I thought Union County had a very good chance to begin with, but now it is a lock. Union County wins--by 20-25 points Winchester finishes second Centerville finishes third Tri finishes fourth Hagerstown finishes fifth Union City finishes sixth Lincoln finishes seventh Northeastern finishes eighth. Union County has 5 Champs Winchester has 4 Champs Centerville has 3 Champs Union City has 1 Champ Northeastern has 1 Champ What has happened to the TEC? Where are our kids. Looks like 2 teams have a full squad? OUCH.

    Sounds like Centerville really gave Winchester a good match. Did Winchester not wrestle well or is Centerville finally up to par? Were there any fights, arguments, big reactions, big matches?? Can we get a copy of the brackets for the Seeding meeting? When is it?

    So it sounds like it will be worth watching. Hopefully I'll be able to make it into Winchester tomorrow night. Winchester put it on them last time it looks like. I think Union County will win the TEC. I agree with some of your thoughts of winners, but I think Centerville and Union County will have a lot of 2,3, 4 place finishers. Winchester really has about 5 good wrestlers and that is it. Not enough to pull out an Individual Tourney.
