    GOOD LUCK TO ALL

  2. Its not the responciblity of the opposing coach to give you the match up you think you should get. You know your wrestlers and he knows his. Maybe there is something that the coach knows or thinks about HIS team. My oppinion only, but I worry about my wrestlers/team only. When you run my practice then you can decide who goes out to the mat at what weight. When a team "dodges" my stud wrestler, we take it as the highest form of respect for that wrestler you just gave 6 team points.

  3. Final team scores were being printed as most teams were out the door. Im sure Brent Duncan AD would send any final brackets to any team that was there one. Nick was there at the end, i'm suprised he did not have it posted by the time the bus got on 70.

Great job to all the teams. And just like before( all you blind draw cry babies) the best teams won, the best kids won. Did any semi state ranked kids(or state) not place this year?

Anyway, I thought it was a great tourney again. Brownsburg, Zionsville, Roncolli, and East Noble were very well coached and wrestled hard.

  4. So.....

If a club that has been around for 4 years has One tourney to hold for fund raising, and

wants to pull as many wrestlers in, by offering Folkstyle only were against freestyle?

I would love to hold a freestyle meet, but u can't count on the numbers. U have to offer what the youth and jr high are in to as well to get them in.

If I thought a cadet/ jr freestyle tourney would draw 150-200 kids, it would be done. We would have the spartan bowl with four full mats, I would call in every official I know. It would be awesome!!

However, those numbers we seen many years ago are gone.

I will countinue to teach and endorse freestyle, but no matter what by May I might be lucky to have 5 kids wrestling.

  5. Connersville(Fayette Co.) RTC will be starting next week. The first 3 weeks it will be held on Tuesdays from 5:30-7/7:30. Starting the 26th of march all practices will go back to regular time to Wednesday at 6-7:30/8. Check here for updates or give me a call. Thanks

    Jerry

  6. I would like to say good luck tomorrow to all these individuals that I have had the pleasure of coaching. Your hard work has really paid off, and will not be overlooked!

I want all of u to no that I am rooting for you(except when wrestling Connersville). Also, after u wrestle some one that u have trained with all year, no matter the outcome, give each other the respect they deserve!!

When the dust settles tomorrow, remember this.... We will all be on the same team next week. Root for our area, or our regional. We can be a force, but we must come together after this weekend.

Again, u all have made us proud. Don't let anything stand in the way of Your Goals.

    Jerry
