And this is why vertical pairing was terrible. Because nobody understood it. First round losers DID NOT get paired with first round winners. There's a very structured criteria for pairing who wrestles whom next, and it has nothing to do with previous round results.

What a day so far for the KV 138 Cole Solomey as he punches his ticket under the lights for the first time in KV history. Did it with a grinder over Bryce Lowery and finished off Hayhurst 8-4. History maker Cole Solomey!
Excited to watch him tonight against the nationally ranked Mendez.

Why is East Chicago not following the mat assignments? The brackets have the mat assignment so wrestle them there. Too many schools for me to know which singlet belongs to which school.
