they had some key seniors, But during that time Portage was pumping out great Teams The 2000 Portage team was stacked With guys like Adam Moreno, David Persian, Mike Chandler, Eric Keith, Fred Joseph, Scott Buhman -
MC isn't in the Region but Rennsealer is in 2001 Kyle johns wrestled in it.

Yeah but the summer team added Bobby Joe and Timmy Maldonado plus a couple of othr guys to. -

This is a tough question since CP just won a Team State Title. But the Region has had a bunch of Great teams who were close to winning Titles but ran in to some Tough teams. Portage has had some great teams 2000, 1998, 2004. Hobarts 1999 team was great, Lowell 2000. Merrillville 05,06 Griffith 03. all great teams. -

I'm also a little Sad that Mike Maggi Mt. Carmel/Highland will not be wrestling. Also doesn't Marist usually send kids? Go Region. It should be good

going in you would think that they are with 2 champs a 7th and a 4th but they are also losing 152-Hwt and 119 When you lose half of your line up it is hard to repeat. But they will have a great team to build around
