  1. More then likely. Remember, no weight classes would be eliminated, only redistributed.
  2. Looks to me like the Disciples of Logic are starting to win out the Legions of Anecdotal Evidence. No one said it would it would bring out more 107 lb. wrestlers. Reread the posts. I think they said those weight classes that traditionally have multiple back-ups would benefit by having the 14 classes spread out. But I think you know that is what they said. Time to start making buttons I guess.
  3. Where did you come with that little trinket of info? Wadkins?
  4. Thank you for taking on the daunting role of Rankings Guy!
  5. Can someone out there in Irish land give us a line-up for Cathedral, especially 160-285

  8. In the past it has been Logan, Ft. Wayne South, Culver Mil., Benton Central, Delphi?? and ???
  9. I would love to but my team is practicing at 8AM saturday and I have an hour and a half drive. Looks like I will be parking in Griffith
  10. I think they are continuously updated. Pogue was beaten by Minix this weekend from what I read.
  11. I think you can rise. That would take some of the load off of me Sat. It sounds like finding a parking place is going to be hard enough.
  12. I don't believe so but can't say for certain one way or another. It was in the Lafayette paper preview of area teams.
  13. I would be in favor of whatever adjustments get the most kids on the mat.
  14. Saw that Deurloo-215 Plymout got beat Lentz-215 Mishawaka
  15. because that descriminates against the little guy
  16. No one is advocating getting rid of a weight class, merely adjust the weight classes so more programs will have more kids wrestling. i'm sure if Y2 had his druthers there would be about 22 weight classes but that is not realistic. I think, like Y2, that adjusting the weight class would help the sport, not hurt it.
  17. Southern Indiana fans...don't be shy about posting results and/or emailing the RankingsGuy with results and/or notable wins and losses. He needs all the info he can get to make the rankings as accurate as possible.
  18. As I have said on other posts, that information would be valuble to the rankings guy. It wouldn't be much trouble to email the guy and he would surely take it into consideration.
  19. Derek Fisher is from what high school and how did he perform in the state tournament?
  20. If it is a team sport then the IHSAA should class it just like it does other team sports. By this logic, there should be an equal number of small schools at team state as large schools. This is not the case. When was Wood Memorial, South Spenser or Heritage Hills' last appearance at team state, or team semi-state, or even team regional. Are you saying that only recently these school have produced their first Semi-state qualifiers? I would like to see some data to back that up. Of course it is, but I'm certain the 'massive numbers' would be considered an advantage in developing a QUALITY program.
