Indiana University would be an ideal location.. seats more than the Ford Center and closer for the North teams.

All the colleges are having games leading up to their playoffs too.  IU, Purdue,  Indiana State, Ball State, Notre Dame, Valparaiso, Butler  all have basketball commitments.  I am honestly surprised the GLVC is letting ISHAA entertain the thought of the Ford Center as a venue.

Anyone see the last heavyweight match for Evansville SS?!?!?! Ref awarded 2 for reversal at the buzzer, then took it away and did not even give the kid the escape. Kids were completely separated and should have been tied and gone to OT.  Worst call I may have ever seen at any level. Refs were trash at points this post season

I think you are referring to Austin Vanover's ticket match. Let's just say Greg argued successfully and Owen Valley didn't even go to the scorers table to object.  Schaefer in your corner is 2 points.

That is impressive, but 21 of the 29 qualifiers came from just 2 schools - Brownsburg & Center Grove.

The Mooresville Regional was blessed with 2 of the very best teams in the state.

What's even more impressive is Center Grove brought 12 to Evansville and left with 12 qualified for State. I don't remember any school doing anything of that magnitude.  Sure, Mater Dei has qualified 14 for Semi State before, and got 7 or 8 through to state,  but 12 for 12 is very impressive.

    Best of luck to all.

first and foremost,  I hope Clay Martin from MD is healthy.  The ref was slow on stopping dangerous moves.... twice.

Second,  if healthy,  he has a brutal match opening round that he might actually win.

In 138, I am pretty sure the winner of Weaver/Goff will best Rose for a ticket.

In 106, Byrd will beat Dickman. Ty Henderson got a takedown under :15 to win 7-6. Byrd is as strong as a mighty Oak and it will be more than Dickman can handle.
