    I think it's a matter of money Penn State and Iowa invest huge money into those programs, of course it's circular, they bring in a lot too. I believe IU and Purdue are the perfect schools to build a future D-1 dominate school It's like building any program, complicated. Look how quick Penn State got to the top after Coach Sanderson arrived. How many HS kids in Pennsylvania would kill to wrestle for him.

    I watched McCormick in all his matches in Indy and I think he is your Ft Wayne pic for a champ. He's a quality wrester any day of the week. But Ellis over Wood or Parris ? Sorry, the quality of schedule is the doom of most schools that size

    The times I have been to the Ft Wayne SS it seemed like, I don't know, going to a basket weaving show or classic car show. Going to the Region was, well an adventure, Robbery, car jacking and fighting at the hotel seemed to set the mood for a great day of wrestling. Saw a few fans get drug out of the gym by the police too.

    For 30 years many coaches in the Region area have commented about going through the Fort Wayne opposed to Merrillville SS so they could qualify more kids to the state tournament. To answer your question about this year or always, I believe that with very few exceptions the Fort Wayne SS is and has always been the weakest SS in Indiana.

    If you saved your programs through the last 30 years, count up all the FW SS champs, then look at the other 3 Of course the best one is............... REGION
