  1. I know Paul and his dad. I don't think that they would want this pointed out on here. You have to keep in mind that this was last year, and one match. Bailey is an excellent wrestler who can contend with some of the best. He is undefeated this year, and has earned the #1 ranking that he currently holds.
  2. What happened in the finals match?
  3. I think the Rankings Guy is gonna have a good time with this weight class. Good luck!
  4. X2 How was it 3-0 going into the 2nd period? Did Reitz have a penalty point against him?
  5. Aren't they supposed to be wrestling tonight?
  6. Fair enough. I was partially trying to be funny, but still make the point that I found your initial, un-clarified point to be outrageous. No malice here either. I disagree with part of what you are saying, but not all. I agree that if you lost, you lost. Period. You should never make excuses, and you should absolutely own the fact that you got bested. Failure to do so is just poor sportsmanship, and you will miss out on the opportunity to get better. On that point, we totally agree. On the other hand, to suggest that the question about whether or not he got caught equals "scrub mentality" is short-sighted in my opinion. Again, in my opinion. You are totally entitled to your own opinion. One time, I caught a kid who was about to tech-fall me. If we would have wrestled 99 more times, he would have beat me 99 times. He was better than me. Period. I caught him. Period. Just as it would have been ridiculous for him to make an excuse for the loss, it would be intellectually dishonest for me not to acknowledge that I "caught" him. It is just a fact that it sometimes happens in wrestling. There is definitely a difference between out-wrestling someone, and catching them in bad position and capitalizing. With all of that being said, I am in no way implying that anyone got caught in the Reitz vs Black match. I wasn't there. The question as to how Black pinned Reitz, however, was a legitimate one. Hope the next match is awesome. Both are outstanding wrestlers. Should be exciting!
  7. Based on last year, that's what I was thinking too.
  8. Wish I could be there for the rematch. I am sure that it will be intense. Good luck to both wrestlers.
  9. Here is what I would recommend for you. Start a new account with a new moniker because nobody will take you seriously now.
  10. I'll take Reitz over the field. No disrespect to any of the other wrestlers. I also heard from first hand witnesses that Egli got obviously robbed out of that match.
  11. Does anyone know how late the second day usually goes?
  12. 1. "I believe the original statement was about Joe". - The quoted post specifically cited the "Lee brothers". 2. "....against all 15 year old boys" - I get the point that it was the Cadet age group. However, I doubt that many other kids in Indiana history have had that much success at Fargo (If you know of any, please name them). Not to mention the fact that Nick was a freshman wrestling all other ages and did not really have any competition in the state that I recall (obviously with the exception of Micic). (Recall his match for 3rd place at state). 3. "....when you guys proclaim" - I am not sure who "you guys" are, but I am not in that group. Notice how I never said anything about no one else having a shot. I simply stated that Nick's accomplishments are on a different level than most.
  13. I'll bite. I don't know enough about Joe Lee to speak of. Nick, however, is on a different level. If memory serves me correctly (and please correct me if I am wrong), he TECH / PINNED his way through FARGO! I call that a different level. No confusion here.
  14. Nick Lee was wrestling 132 today. Not 138.
