I have been on the short end of the stick of a bad ticket round draw. No fun at all. I guess it is a part of the sport, but I cringe when I see kids go home and kids with 10-15 losses make it because of a good draw. Then again though those 10 losses could be from wrestling a perry or portage or other top program type of schedule. However, that isn't always the case. I would love to see wrestle backs at semi state.

Singlets or Fight Shorts/Compression Shirts?

I love wrestling and I would support the movement if it happened. However, wrestling would not be the same for me if this were to occur. When I was a little kid, one of the things I looked forward to most at the IHSAA state finals was seeing all the vintage, and well-designed singlets that my favorite wrestlers wore. To see kids wear fight shorts and a compression shirt would be rough because I feel like there is so much pride in getting to wear a certain singlet in the finals of tournaments. I never wrestled in the semi state finals or the state finals but wearing my school's black singlets in the finals of every other tournament was a blast. Not to mention, there are already instances where we see kids grabbing headgear and singlet straps. Baggy shorts are going to make that worse in my opinion. If it's not broke don't fix it. -

cmfauber, I am the assistant coach at Oak Hill High School. I planned on bringing some of our wrestlers to the RTC tomorrow night. Any thing special we need outside of cash or USA cards? Thanks for your time, -Nick Duke -
I'm really dissapointed Coy is hurt. One of the most entertaining wrestlers I have watched in the last couple years. I wish him the best, but things aren't looking good, he was really struggling with his hand from what I witnessed on Saturday. I believe injury free he is a state champ!
