  1. Awesome. Two of my favorite all time matches that year at 112 and 160.
  2. I heard rumors Jeff Jordan is moving to coach at a rural Kentucky school next year. He was interviewed in Urbana just hours after winning another "mythical" state title. Rumor has it he chucked his state title into the trash and almost let out a curse word. He said, I'm not proud of ever being only 1/3 of a champion. When asked about his son Micky and his fourth state title, Jordan responded, "what a joke, Micky didn't get more than thirty two, or thirty three percent of the respect he deserved. They may as well put up partitions in between the mats like some gosh darn truck stop restroom." Jordan went on to say that he is tired of wasting his time training kids that don't have opportunities to win in real state tournaments. Rumor has it, he will move shop this year to Possum Trot, Ky and hire David Taylor as an assistant coach. It has also been rumored that Jim Jordan will no longer be defending his seat in congress. He is tired of winning a "district" championship every election year. A non-classed Senate bid is likely in his future.
  3. Found this. Check out 135 http://www.themat.com/section.php?section_id=3&page=showarticle&ArticleID=22243
  4. Jordan Leen went to Baylor or Soddy Daisy. Don't know if he was the last though.
  5. Thanks a lot for all the patronage. Apparently there was a great turnout for both breakfast and dinner from the wrestling community. We will be sure to do it again next year, and I'll give everyone a little more notice. Maybe next year TripleB and myself can work on the powers at be to hire Stolls to cater the hospitality room. One can dream. Congrats to all participants yesterday.
  6. Coach Schaefer wanted to bust out our new purple, post season edition, MD singlets this weekend but I talked him out of it. We are going to wait two weeks until team state to wear them.
  7. They are open until 9:00 P.M. Central time and will stay open later if customers are still wanting to eat. Its a great opportunity to feed your kids on the way home to reward their success this season.
