  1. Posted by: DKONRATH83 « on: Today at 02:55:13 PM » Insert Quote I totally agree with that. They got caught in a double leg, they got caught with that single leg, or they got caught in a head lock etc. It doesn't matter the kid lost and the beginning to end all 6 minutes are part of that wrestling match. But, my issue is that ppl that are some form of relation ( friend, family, or teammate) go to an extravagant length to make the point that their kid shouldn't have lost and try to discredit the win of the other kid. To make it short quit typing about it, train your kid to stop whatever happened and prove that your kid should've won. But also remember all 6 minutes count. Sorry for the repost but figured I might confuse some otherwise.

  3. Look I'm on the side of Van Horn here. It's a wrestling match all six minutes count. People need to stop making excuses for their friends and family. Sounds like it was a great match and Schober and his family should go over what happened at the end there and correct that mistake. It is okay to make the point that the match was closer than the score shows but don't try to take away from the other guys ( DESERVED) victory. Good luck to both guys.
  4. Thanks, though I think we could argue all day on this because furguson scored most of his PTs in the first minute does that mean he won by a first minute flurry. Anyway we appreciate your support and we will always support Tyler.
  5. Ha ha bb145 I get it calm down. But I'm not mad, I once again think furguson did a great job. Even the stalling calls that I mentioned were exactly what anyone would have done. I just get tired of ppl trying to up play or make excuses. I think Furguson himself (father and son) would say there was no flurry and both kids wrestled to their strengths. Great job to Furguson and Paul. 8)
  6. Final score 9-6. Konrath got a fireman's and held him on his back for two points. If that's what you call a late flurry, then Paul does them all the time. The point that you're missing on your count is the straight minute of stalling Ferguson did to make sure he didn't go back on his back. Normally I'm quiet on this site but this time I feel it's necessary to make sure my brothers success is not downplayed. Ferguson wrestled great and earned that victory but my brother wrestled great as well and deserves to be recognized for stepping up to a challenge and not taking the easy road, and not down played.
  7. Yes I was confused on that, I thought that Yates had move from Illinois to Indiana. My apologies for the concussion. Either way I'd say he is one tough wrestler.
  8. No offense was meant by my comment I had been watching to see how he would do against a ranked wrestler in the state. He is obviously very good to tech Slates, but I had never seen him wrestle and sometimes just because you do well in one state doesn't mean that you will do as well in another. However the main point I was making is that he is not ranked and now he should be ranked after teching the #11 kid in the state.
  9. Thanks again. Looks like Yates is solidifying a spot on the rankings, impressive.
  10. Anyone have the champs ? Ps. Thanks for the update, ontherise
  11. MD 5-way is canceled :'( a weekend without wrestling was not what I had planned
  12. Anyone know if this meet is still on ??? I'm tired of sitting here waiting to see if I get to watch some wresting tomorrow or not :-\
