Lannert just out sized, out matched, and out wrestled him in every turn. but Kelley got into his legs deep like 3 times and nearly scored on a super duck. Neal Molloy would have even been proud if he had scored but Kelley pushed the pace and Lannert pinned him again to prove Sectionals wasnt a fluke and regionals was with Kelley winning. Good job to Jake and hope to see him in the finals. Good luck to both of them.

I agree with it, i mean, if you take a guy down 3 times in the first period, ur still only up 3 points but have dominated. however, in close matches, it just seems like 2 much. i see both sides of the defending arguements.

Ya. Schnaar doesnt have a chance i dont believe. Ive seen both wrestle and Bass is on an enitrely new level of being an athlete.

Maybe if Brown was a Senior i'd give it to him. But he will have never wrestled anybody as strong as him. Plus with his strength comes pretty good technique. nearly unbeatable. If he just got the endurance he needs i'd say he could do some serious upseting. -

I think Brown won't be able to handle his strength from the feet. If Kennedy just goes takedowns all much he would probably win. Just cant choose bottom. Prediction: 5-3 Kennedy -

This should take place the ticket round of Evansville Semi-state. 2 kids ranked 4th and 6th. One isn't making it to State. Predictions?

Tristan Macri #10. Will easily place this year IMO. Beat #3 Hartman 2 times now. -

Besides the obvious winner being Jackson, it seems to be a total toss up as far as placing. Hartman (#3) has lost to Macri (#10) twice now if I'm not mistaken. Bova was unbeaten until getting beat at Team Regionals by Stevenson and then Farrell (#6) at Regionals. Then we have Evansville Semi-State. Boy could this could be any way. Lannert has handled Kelley twice with a 8-2, (correct me if I'm wrong), and a 31 second pin match. Then at Regionals he gets beat (9-2 i think?) by Jon Hoehn (2X SQ) who then turns around and looses 10-4 in the finals to Kelley. Now you throw in Ticket Round matches of Kelley vs. Hays who just beat Stevenson and Judy vs. Hoehn along with Stevenson vs. Gage Kelly. Places 2-8 at state could be anybody. Might come down to draw and who comes ready to wrestle. 138's that are impressing me: Alex Griffin (#5) Tristan Macri (#10) Jordan Judy (#15) Brendon Kelley (#7) Michael Nix (#11) And I'm going to throw in Jon Hoehn (unranked). Those are the guys I'd watch for to SUPRISE some people. Not to say #2, 3, 4 wont be up there but that just wouldn't be a shock if they were. -Any other big things I'm missing?

We can 'Predict' all we want but until the match happens nobody will ever know. Hope it happens tonight. I look forward to watching it. If i go all the way out there and it doesnt happen.. ill be pretty disappointed.

Predicted Upsets- Stevenson over Judy 138 Fentz over Montgomery- 145 Tolley over Jones. Hard working Team right there.

I believe McDaniels will win in a close one. But i could see Frymire win it just with that Senior Strength he will have over the inexperienced freshman. Can we get a top 4 predictions?

6-3 Molloy if there are some scrambles. 4-3 McKinely if its straight up college type wrestling.
