EC Senior Night dual versus Lawrenceburg rescheduled for tomorrow.

I am holding out for the '81 Impala! LOL All kidding aside - I see Walt's point. My take is that he is telling the "non-champs", which will comprise what, 99.6% of wrestlers (assuming 250 in each weight class), that there is more to life than winning state and that they should keep their heads up as they travel down life's road. I have seen, overall, that most wrestlers are ahead of the game of life beyond high school compared to most others. Probably due in part to their dedication to a very grueling sport. However, I also know of others who were very successful (non-state winning) wrestlers who battle demons like drugs and alcohol (just as an example). Anyway, I want to wish the best of luck to ALL wrestlers and encourage them to remember what they have learned and use it to be a success. On the mat and off!

No one made it to state last year. 16 guys made it to Semi-state. Boggs, Oyler, Harnishfeger, and Neisius finished 6th at Semi-state. I have listed the Regional placement and weight class below (in orange) for all semi-state qualifiers. I used bigmak's predictions.

Did anyone ever answer this? I think it is at South Dearborn at 9:00 Saturday.

Just got word form EC's coach that Lawrenceburg will be at EC tomorrow. Which means EC probably won't make up scheduled FC dual.

Not sure. He was a SSQ and finished 36-6 or something. He won conference, beat Reed 4-3 in Sectional final and lost to Reed in Regional final. Took me a while to figure out that Charlie Hill wasn't David Hill last year. LOL Maybe someone from L'Burg can enlighten us.

Thanks, mak. I just looked it up and they only had 5 in Sectional last year (one graduated) and Reed as the only one with a winning record. Too bad he didn't come to EC. LOL

3-1 over Moore (EC) doesn't sound like a demolition. LOL If Chase can beat Day or Manning, that would be something. Hayes and Selm are both beasts. Should be great matches Wednesday and Saturday!

They had no one between Hill (160) and Kirk (285) at EC.

At the EC 8-Way, I was impressed with Deal, Westerfeld, Amberger, Hooten from Batesville and Oyler (as usual), Wesley, Ruberg, Hill, and Kirk. Hooten's only loss that day was to Mitts (EC) by decision in a good match. And I am sure that people will be happy to criticize! LOL Any idea when they are holding the seeding meeting?
