  1. The 125lbs weight class would have to weigh in at 127lbs or less ready to wrestle wearing shoes and singlet .WITH OUT headgear All weight class get 2 extra pounds over weight class.
  2. who ever said he could stand toe to toe with jason ?
  3. thanks alot . maybe will see a few of them at conseco next yr
  4. maybe he was bumped up in a strategic way . its better to take a lose early in the season at a higher weight and still be unblemished at your natural weight . ie helps with seedings and placing at the later tournaments such as sectionals and so on .
  5. boston is a great wrestler his pretty sound in all fazes off the game but so is brooks . i mean if we say they are completely equal in every way on the mat which its clear they arent . brooks would still come out on top . his alot more physical of a wrestler and stronger ie look at the size difference between the two . i say brooks controls this match start to finish
  6. heard our boys represented indiana well at the christmas duals . Anyone know of individual results
  7. Im just transitioning from high school to college wrestling . And as we all know or have heard , one of the most common problems most freshman have . Is getting away from bottom , im wondering is that due to the fact of the way we are taught . from a young age to get out on bottom . Is it about the exploding and getting off the whistle or is there more of a technical side to it . Im trying to take a poll for class for a paper so it would be greatly appreciated if you could leave a respose with your wrestling experience , such as head coach ... 10 yrs experience and so on . is exploding up right off the whistle what u teach , or back pressure hand fighting etc the main focus ?
  8. four days to glory . i read it in highschool it was pretty inspiring . follows a few very good iowa wrestlers chasing history . matt mcdonough , jay borschel , dan leclere and even a lil bit of mtcalf .
