  1. Boone Welliever ('17) from Southmont had 127 pins out of 150 wins. I believe that would put him 8th on Y2's list.
  2. “Sounds like Mr. Faulkens may need to pay a visit to the Orioles to discuss their adherence to the weight management protocol...” I was thinking the same thing. I guess you’re a, “d-bag,” for commenting on the egregious rules violation the kid admits to in the article. Just goes to show that some schools don’t feel they are subject to following the same rules as the rest. I can’t say I’m too surprised...
  3. IN Department of Weights and Measures certifies our scales every year. https://www.in.gov/isdh/files/County Inspectors.pdf
  4. Our APC teacher is the head football coach and he makes my guys do a full workout on meet days. When I spoke to him about altering their plan he said if he does for the wrestlers he will have to do it for all sports which leads to logistical chaos.
  5. Set to the Rocky soundtrack...Classic!
  6. As a representative, I would ask Mr. Faulkens why there is such a need for secrecy. I would highlight the fact that holding a secret meeting with secret representatives who were secretly chosen by the IHSAA sends the wrong message to the wrestling community. Do the other commissioners operate in the same fashion for football or basketball (Faulkens may oversee one of those, I don't know)? I would be shocked if they realign those sports based off the input of 16 coaches randomly chosen throughout the state. I could be wrong though... The silver lining in all of this is that I now I have a modern day example of a dictatorship and oligarchy to use in my social studies curriculum.
